About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Fun Round of Golf
Everyone had a great time. Very accommodating to 2, 3 or 4 golfers in your group. Pace of play was good.
Our group was a group of 3. we decided to play a best ball scramble and finished under 4 hours.
Course in great shape. I would recommend to any level golfer.
Decent Course
Course was in good shape, the layout is a little cramped and short but nothing too bad. Nice course management challenge, but overall very average difficulty. The value is the best in the area! Only reason I don’t give a 5 is because the starter was extremely rude for no perceived reason.

Tough but nice
I played here today for the second time on my two week stay. I really like this place. Even though they got three inches of rain the night before they still let you drive on all but five of the fairways. There are some really menacing water hazards on several holes, so it is a real challenge for me. Really was impressed, though, with the condition of the fairways and greens.

Great course
Very nice course. Tough lay out for first time players. Be nice if they had more yard markers or a booklet. Ill be back to play again and know the layout better

New Friends
My son and I played this course for the first time. Number one was backed up when we arrived so the starter sent us to begin on the back 9. When we made the turn we ask an older couple that was behind us to join the two of us, they were extremely nice people and we had an enjoyable second nine holes. The course and layout were great, I loved the slopes , I’m used to playing pretty much flat fairways so this course was a great change for me. The course was challenging but still a lot of fun and I will definitely return for another round when I’m in the area again. Do yourself a favor and play a round here.

Hot in July
My son and I played here today for the first time, played the first nine alone and then ask an older couple to join us for the back nine, they were members and tried to give us some tips on the course. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition, course was a challenge but very enjoyable, we will definitely return for another round someday. Staff was excellent from the bag drop to the pro shop, really had a great day here, I definitely recommend this course.

First time playing here. Not long but Narrow
Course is not long but is narrow. Used several irons off tee box on par4’s. If you need to work on long irons this is the course for you. I say that very respectfully. Got paired with a gentleman and two ladies. ALL had played the course and were very good. They could play. Course was in good shape. Did see one bunker that looked unplayable but thankfully no one in our group got near it. I would go back and play here. You will use all your clubs and the greens are in very good shape. Played in like 3 hrs 15 minutes which is amazing in this area.

Friendly Staff But Lots of Water
Went the day after a big rain storm so we started Cart Path Only but starter was nice to let us go early before our tee time when expected to be more crowded (and not wait for the other pair who was supposed to play with us). Be prepared for a few tight tee shots and water on several holes to bring challenges to a relatively short course. Nice track overall and friendly staff inside the pro shop and around the course.

Best value
My Dad and I played yesterday for our first round of vacation. We’re high handicaps so we appreciated the short holes. It’s not all easy though, as there are several menacing water hazards. The fairways and greens were all in great shape. Bunkers were in good shape as well. Overall, I couldn’t believe how nice it was for the money. I’ll play this place again every year for sure.

Great spot
Very playable course. Didn’t have to hit driver off every tee. Nicely manicured fairways. The ball sits up nicely everywhere in the fairways and first cut.. Greens in excellent shape and small targets. Bring your shirt iron game! Great place for my two teenage boys to enjoy a round away from Raleigh NC.
