About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Valley at Eastport Golf
Had a 2 some 7:40 tee time got out early.
Course was in good shape but a little on the wet side.
Reasonably short but challenging layout

Fun Track
Got out first on a hit Summer day. This is course is a shorter layout than most but it was a good test. The fairways were narrow and tree lined with a lot of partial blind shots due to elevation change and doglegs. The starter said it wasnt a course for bombers and I agree it isnt a course you can over power. The big hitter in my group was easily clearing most of the hazards with drivers at 300+ but was being rewarding with fluffy rough lies. The shorter hitters were looking at mid irons in on most 4s. Really enjoyed the round and will definitely be back if I stay on north side of MB again

Nice but slow
I have played this course several times, but today’s pace of play was terrible! I course is challenging and the greens are in good shape. I would could back.

Slow play
Places need to consider a ranger pace of play is terrible, four groups on one hole all day.

My wife and I played the front 9. Course was in good condition, friendly staff! Only cost $25 for early AM tee time for a very decent course, will definitely be back again!

Finishing holes are challenging .
Course design is excellent. A lot of water and sand to get around.. Greens are in excellent condition. We played white tees which was almost 6000 yds. Most greens were elevated and protected by bunkers which was challenging. Good day.
