#4 West is a cool short par three with several good tee angles into an undulating green. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

The best scenery is on #8 West - a long and testing par 5 along the Calabash River. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

We would definitely play here again. A good and challenging course!!!!
Great course
Played west to east. Great layout, nice staff and hands down best greens we played over 7 different courses in South Carolina.
Pearl continues to be great course
Played The Pearl many times, but last time was over 15 years ago. Played the Pearl and was not disappointed. Course layout and condition still very good. Pace of play was excellent. Could tell that the edges and cart paths were worn, but course tee to green was excellent. Would recommend this course without question.
West course was fine. East course - the greens had been aerated and in bad shape
No warning.
Surprisingly Good Experience
We practically had the course to ourselves! Very scenic and imaginative course layout. The fairways are tight and greens on the small size. The greens were in good condition and putted a bit slow but true. The East course is very unique in that it has 3 par 3s, 3 par 4s and 3 par 5s. The ending par 5 #9 is a spectacular finishing hole.
Course had a nice layout. Played the West-North track. Front 9 was getting aerated and had no notice or discount for it, which was disappointing. Course culture was strange and rushed which I didn't expect from a resort area. We stopped at the turn after a hot front 9 for some food/drink, staff was unfriendly about it and implied there was something wrong with stopping. Then the starter came in ~10 minutes later to tell us people were passing us and we needed to get back out or we would be waiting. Never had that kind of experience literally anywhere else, it's implied that if you stop at the turn people are allowed to organically pass you. Back 9 was in good condition and the prettier course for sure. Maybe we caught the place at a bad time but it was a weird experience for a $100+ resort round.
Best Golf Around!
As anyone knows it’s hard to pick a golf course to play at when coming to the beach. Well this one didn’t disappoint and we will be coming back to play again! Everything was great! We had ourselves a big time!
Nice course
We were told there was a beverage cart however all 18 hole we never saw the cart and there were only 27 holes that was being serviced. When we finished our 18 the bar/restaurant was closed. That was about 5ish. Other than that The course was nice and in good condition.
Good Golf, Poor Amenities & Staff
Golf Course was fine but disapointed that we never saw the beverage cart and at the turn the bar was so backed up that we couldn't wait to get a beverage. And the the bar was closed when we finished our round about 5PM!
I tipped the bag handlers and he didn't even acknowledge me or thank me!
Very difficult to see the hazards from tee box. The course was not in good shape.
Fun course
First time playing here and I enjoyed it. Fairways were in excellent condition.
Pleasantly Surprised
I grew up in the area and it’s been around 10 years since I played the Pearl. It’s in better shape than it was last time I played it which is hard to say about a lot of the older courses around Myrtle. The tees, fairways and greens were all in great shape. Cart paths could definitely use some work but who cares right? Pace of play was great. Played as a single and went through one twosome on the front and didn’t see anybody else. Finished in 2:45 and I was taking my time . The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is course layout. I played the North and East nines and really enjoyed rhe North but the East was pretty dull. Great views along the marsh on the North but the east wasn’t very memorable. But for the price, the conditions, and the pace of play this place was a really good value. They also have a nice range and putting/ chipping green. I’ll definitely be back before another 10 years.
Pearl Golf
West/East courses were in good shape. Sr tees. Greens rolled well and were not overly fast. I enjoy this course. Fun to play
