Rio Pinar Golf

This was our first time back in months because the price finally came down. It was well worth it. Course was in excellent condition, greens were true and quick. They were having a tournament the next day so we benefited by the conditions. Great layout on a classic course with storied history. Only recommendation would be to make a snack/ turn spot for a quick bite.

Found this course about 20 minutes east of Universal Studios and was happy I found it. Great layout difficult at times with fast greens. I also had to rent clubs and was surprised with Taylormade Qi10s. Would definitely recommend this course if you’re visiting Orlando.

This is a classic golf course with lots of character . Course is playing fast. Greens are in excellent shape. Pace of play is around 4 hours. It’s understandable that the PGA Tour played here years ago. Fun but challenging course. Staff is top notch. Restaurant is first rate. If you are in Orlando play this course.

The course was fantastic. In great shape, greens are fast and beautiful. The history of the course adds to the experience. You won’t be disappointed.

This course was amazing!! Easy to find easy to navigate. The staff, bartender, starter, and everybody in between or super friendly and helpful. The course was in great condition and the weather was perfect!! I see a lot of people on the reviews saying that the pace of play was a little slow, but I passed two groups at separate times and everybody was very relaxed as long as I asked nicely. Greens were pristine and tea boxes were well manicured. Overall, the course was a great value for the price!! definitely gonna head back there if I end up on the East Coast again

The course has constantly been improving since new ownership took over. The course is in great condition. They are working on some of the tee boxes. Some were sanded pretty heavily, and others were in the process of getting new sod. Always a fun course to play.

We played this course several times past few months and never been disappointed. Course layout is great and conditions are great even in the midst of the dry stretches . With so many courses very similar charging twice as much , we’ll keep coming back for sure

Good golf course design. Par 71 over 7,000 tells you it’s tough. Greens were great. Some tee boxes were a little beat up. Great value and a hard golf course from the tips.

This course can be very challenging if you are not playing the correct tee box, especially if its windy. Right now it is playing firm and fast. The greens are in awesome shape and rolling smooth and fast. Overall great course and great conditions.

Only thing that I would give feedback on to the course is when you order a sandwich or wrap from your golf cart and pick up at the turn, the process needs to be quicker. I've done this multiple times and its always slow, which delays our group from getting to the next tee box in a timely manner.

Staff wasn’t really friendly for someone first time there, they talked to customers like they didn’t want to do anything or help. I was paired with another solo by the starter who apparently thinks challenging the players with his handicap and skill level are a good idea when really it just upset us. In our opinion the starter needs fired or needs to quit to play cash games and put his $ where his mouth is because being a 10 and playing from the up tees shows his ignorance. Good day spoiled from the start by the starter. Just wish he had his clubs and his checkbook because his mouth and arrogance had us quoting him all the way back to Chicago!!
