Rio Pinar Golf

It was an overall just okay experience. The tee boxes are beat. The greens are pretty awful. Just an okay experience.

Most of the course was on the high end of good condition. The greens were deceptively bad. The look fine, and there was only one with any bare spots, but they were thought for me to put on. Slow and didn’t roll true. Hard to get an accurate read when the grass is working against you. Lots of wildlife! The fox squirrels will come right up to you.

Bring water because there is no possibility to fill up, not even in the club house.

Rio Pinar is under new ownership and is currently improving conditions. The fairways are getting a little better and the greens are getting better after aireation.

Have played here many times in past when pace of play was really bad. New ownership has greatly improved upon pace and we were able to finish our round with minimal delays. Course is in good condition, greens a bit slow but otherwise still one of my favorites in the area.

Absolutely amazing course for its value. It was a tougher course with narrow fairways. The only complaint was there was no water stations while playing. But will be back

I played Rio Pinar golf course yesterday not aware of the ongoing maintenance. It was terrible. Tractors all over the course perforatimg the fairways and ruff around the greens. This made it horrible to play. Actually they should have closed for this maintenance effort. Not golf playable.

This is the fifth time you're asking me to review this course. I still feel the same way I did the last time I reviewed it.

Championship course, challenging layout, great clubhouse. Well worth the money.

9:30 tee time with steady pace of play until 14th hole and then we caught up with a fivesome and waited on every shot.

I was fortunate enough to play with one of Rio Pinar's starters. Course is starting to show improvements due to the efforts of new owners. The starter believes some big improvements are forthcoming while keeping the cost play economical. Great course and friendly staff. I'm hopeful it will return to it's formal PGA glory.
