Need a marshal.
Last few times I played the pace was painfully slow. Generally caused by 1 or 2 groups. Could definitely use a marshal to speed up play. .3.5 hours should be plenty to play 18. But it wasn’t. Everything else is great.
Great improvements have been made in the past 6 months.
Greens are in great shape and overall the course looks great!
Great Layout
I really like the Woodlawn course at Ft. Belvoir. It’s in great condition, greens and fairways are in excellent shape, and the layout is terrific. There’s a lot of doglegs and elevation changes. If you are a single, you get your own cart automatically. Pace of play is also very good. Kudos to the maintenance team and staff.

The greens are fast and true to your putting. The kind of greens that I enjoy
Loved the challenging greens.
Staff was super nice. Pace of play was decent, and slower groups let us play through. Perfect day of golf and had alot of fun.

A little patience getting on post pays dividends. Great layout in nice shape. Staff is excellent . Enjoy your round!

Very Good Course
We had a great round at Ft. Belvoir today. The course is in great shape; the greens rolled really well. This course was an excellent value through GolfNow too. We played the Woodlawn course; it did not disappoint. Recently, I’ve payed much more for “supposedly” top courses that did not live up to the hype. I cannot wait to play here again.
Played Woodland course, course was in good condition for this time of year. It was as expected and it provided for a great day of golf.
Ft. Belvoir (Woodlawn)
The greens in N. VA took a beating the past few months (& I don't see how some of these courses can charge $100 on weekends in good concious) so I was not expecting much at Ft. Belvoir. Well I was quite surprised that they were in good shape, not April/May shape, but good nonetheless. It's a fun course that is definitely worth playing.
