About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Worse than you think should be zero stars...
Ok so the course is very close to unplayable. "Oh wow dirt in the fairways, gee that's ok I can hit off of dirt". WRONG...its full of holes and is very uneven with clumps of weeds. IF it was just bulldozed flat then at least you could try to ruin an old set of clubs by hitting off the dirt ...but nope you will lose balls in the center of fairways. "Well at least we get a cart and ride" WRONG...the course is so jacked up you cant drive a cart without hurting your back it's so so so very bumpy. "hey at least it's nice outside" WRONG...there is a horrible noxious smell that is around the course although it comes and goes when it's there it's bad, real bad. The pluses of the course are the greens which are ok and you can get times because it's horrible. "At least it's golf" WRONG...this challenges that notion. Hey play it and write your review, you will see.
Course should be for Practice only
Overall, it is what you expect from reading the reviews. Fairways are very rough so hard to play as the ball lies, but good practice for terrible lies on better courses. Luckily greens and tee boxes are in decent condition.
The course is supposedly set to be closed down so I guess the staff is preparing and not throwing any resources into the course.
Probably will not play here again if other courses are open.

Horrible Conditions
Went a few days ago and the course is in very bad shape. Nothing but dirt and a lot of golfer holes, literally a lot. You will easily lose your balls and have a very hard time finding it. Spent more time looking for my balls than playing. The greens were the only part that were good, other than that, just dirt, lots of holes..

The course is in terrible condition. No carts available for my tee time so I walked the front 9 which i was not expecting.

Poor Fairways lots of Dirt

Wide
Wide course ao you can practice new things. Sad pest have take over field so make sire you hit on fairway so better Chand of cool yardage and find your ball.

Poor conditions
Too many Gofer holes, weeds in the bunkers and no grass in the fairways.

Course needs a lot help
Fairways are almost all dirt. Too many gofer holes. Greens are in good condition.

Construction site
Grass is available on tee box and green. Other than that you are hitting from an unpaved road. Carts are better than so many private courses but that's it!! I would not play here even if it's for free.

The worst
No grass on fairways. The bunkers were wet. The greens were ok. Staffs were terrible they did not even mention it and the restaurant was closed at 2 and couldn't even buy a drink.
I would like to get a refund.

No fairway
The only grass on this course is the tee box and the green. The “fairway” is littered with gofer holes so don’t put any open cans In the cart unless you want it to spill everywhere. Will not be coming back here again.
