About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Don’t even bother
The course is in the process of basically waiting to close. They seem to have no idea when they’re actually shutting down the course (they seem to think it will be in 3 months or so, as of 11/14/22), and they’ve decided to do absolutely zero maintenance until they do. Barely any grass on the course, greens COVERED in rabbit droppings, and bunkers made of hardpan and mud. This was the worst golf experience I could ever imagine.
New Carts
Me and my friends play this course often and are not snobs when it comes to courses. It is what it is and we have fun playing it. The workers are all friendly. The now have some new golf carts for your pleasure. Please fix your divots on the greens.

This course is simply not playable. They should close the course until they finish serious repair on the course.

I wish I would have listened to the reviews. This is the worse course I and either of my buddies have played at. Every topic I gave one star but I gave 5 stars to the pace of play because there was literally no one ahead or behind us because they knew better. The green is the best part of this course, everything was horrible. Course is literally dirt and gopher holes. Maps even shows an aerial shot of the course and it looks like a hiking trail or dump lot. Wish I could get my money back. Do not play here!!!

Playing this course us like playing on the moon
Upon arrival to the course, I was informed that I may need to wait as they ran out of carts... at 0800 in the morning. I finally decided to walk the course rather than wait for a cart. Also, my tee time was supposed to include a meal and a sleeve of balls. I was offered nothing. I went to out and noticed that no one had teed off in the last 20 minutes as people were waiting for carts. As I stood on the tee box, I realized that there wasn't a fairway, just muddy wasteland filled with some kind of animal holes, weeds and no grass to speak of. The entire course should be staked off as ground under repair. Second shots from the fairway played like they were being played from a hazard. In the mud, in the dirt, in an animal hole, in a man-made hole or in the aggressive fairway weeds, shots from the fairway should be rewarded, here, they are not. I don't know what kind of burial ground this place is built on but the residents are obviously upset.
With all of that said, if you have never played this course, I encourage you to do so. Your friends will not believe the tales you tell when you return. Just do yourself a favor and wait for a cart. The terrain is more than challenging. Your ankles and knees will thank you. This was an unbelievable experience for all of the wrong reasons.

Careful! Could hurt something
Course is hard dirt/sand with gopher holes everywhere and your back is lost in the holes…in the middle of the fairway!
There is no grass in the fairways and you must hit of hard sand/rock.

Can't believe the condition of this course
I will never play this course again until a new owner takes over and maintains the place. From the tee to the greens it was just bushes and dirt. The greens were maintained but that's it. The worst golf course I have ever played.

very poor course with little grass on Fairway, Green is OK. Layout is somewhat easy, need to re-grown all the grass on the Fairway to made it playable.
Staff are friendly and told the true condition of the course before starting so its fair enough and do not gave u a big surprise

Carts and fairway
Your cart will be pieced together and 50/5] chance it might break or breakdown.
If they at least took a tractor and graded dirt it will fill in holes and leaves it out so carts won't bounce around so much...and your ball won't be lost or ankle rolled...
Or make a deal city about with clean landfill and dump onto fairway so at least not hard concrete dirt an give our golf clubs a chance to last.
Or just bring in the truf an or give players 2 foot strip to put down when we hit club wo t damour clubs ..so many options...
No excuse for restroom still
And a meal value is just hot dog no chips or snack so not a meal deal.

Dirt fairways have been a norm for years... Greens are in fair condition but walking in the muddy fairways leaves mud footprints on them.... So sad because it's a great course...

Worst course ever
Do not waste your money. Course condition can’t be any worse - dirt, gopher holes everywhere and only patches of grass.
