About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Worst shape it’s ever been in
You couldn’t pay me to play here again, very sad because this was a good long track, if you like to hit off dirt and loose balls in gopher holes in the middle of the fairway, play here

Really disappointed
I was informed upon arrival that the course was being demolished so the care of the grounds was discontinued there was no grass on the fairways there was gofer holes through the fairways sand at first glance it did not even look like a real golf course…so I lost my convenience fee of $7 GOLFNOW should maintain an audit of the courses listed to avoid unfortunate situations in the future.

Golpher holes and sand everywhere
One out of 18 holes was somewhat green. The 17 holes we played on were filled with gopher holes and large patches of dirt. When I say large, over half of the hole was dirt. This is by far the worst golf course I have ever played on. The golf carts are poor quality. The brakes was defective. Only thing good was the friendly staff and no wait time.

Course in horrible conditions!
Everything was great except the course condition. 90% of the course is literally dirt gopher mounds.

Ok pace
Pace once you get a cart is ok rarely wait. Golf carts need major maintenance on seat, steering and breaking system catches on most carts but they do run .
Course very bumpy due to critters on Course that dig. Fairways are mainly dirt and some rocky but greens are nice but over watered at times. Bathrooms need major fixing no excuses on that why not maintained. But ones on Course are ok.
Food service ok very basic.
Staff very nice when you come in to pay.

No fairways
If you have clubs meant to play on dirt, you’ll be fine. If you have nice clubs do not play this course. There is no grass on any fairways, all hard bumpy dirt. Rocky to drive on and get ready to score at least 6-10 strokes lower unless you can hit off hard dirt shots 2 and 3

Not a golf course
This place charged more than other local tracks which had relatively good conditions. The “fairways” are prairie dog towns, nothing more nothing less. In 40 years playing golf I have never seen anything this bad. $50 to hit on dirt, lose balls in ground squirrel burrows, and bounce my fillings out in the horrible carts.
To be fair, the greens were not as bad as the rest of the course. The cart paths were ok, probably should have been hitting shots off them instead of the moonscape that masquerades as the fairway on each hole. See the pictures, they tell the story better than I could. These are not pictures of the desert, they are true representations of every fairway on the course.

Most fairways had bare spots. Greens were great. Probably will not play this course again untill somebody tells me that they improved the fairways,

Not Recommended
The fairways are in terrible shape. They are mostly dirt with gopher holes. It is bone jarring to drive a cart on the fairways. Greens were in good shape and the staff was nice. The course layout is good, but the terrible fairways negate everything else on the course. Practice facilities appeared to be excellent. If I lived near there, I would use the practice facilities and pass on golf.

Worst Golf experience ever
This course should not even appear as a choice for a golf now reservation. It is in horrible condition and the operators know it is dismal but are still happy to take your money.

Trash golf course and management. Avoid at all costs.
I booked a reservation and tried to call them three days before tee time to cancel but they would not let me. Make sure to read the rest of the reviews and you'll see why you're better off golfing elsewhere.

Worst course ever (said in comic book guy voice)
If you enjoy the idea of playing golf in a post apocalyptic world then this course is for you. Take hunger games meets the scene in terminator 2 when the nuke is dropped. This course had more divots and craters then a teenage D&D party. Please stay away. If you do happen to get the urge to destroy your clubs and ruin golf for you and your friends, then a tee time is always available.
