About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Worst course ever
It’s like they intentionally wanted to try a course with fairways made of dirt. Seriously, don’t play here unless you want to end up covered with dust from head to toe. Don’t waste your money and just hit the range. Even at $39 a round for weekday this is not worth the money.

Worst Course in the World
Awful course, there is less dirt In the bunkers then the faraway. It’s an all dirt course other then the greens. The carts are old and not worth playing if you are paying a $1 because you can’t practice anything other then putting and driver.

For the price you pay it’s still to much. Ur playing in the bunker all day. Makes good shot look horrible, will never go back unless they pay me to play.

Greens and aprons good
No grass and in v bad shape otherwise.
To bad as it is has good routing and 6800 + yards.

Worst golf course I’ve ever seen
I’ve played over 1,000 rounds of golf and this is by far the worst golf course I’ve ever seen or played. You can’t even call it a golf course, it’s basically a dirt field with very few patches of bad grass. Absolutely awful, do not play here!

Fairway Finder
Played yesterday for the first time because they had carts. One of the worst maintained courses I’ve ever played. The fair ways are non existent. Unless you drive the green it’s hard to have a mid range game. If you are just learning the course is good to fine tune 10 yards and in and see a drive off a tee. The other players were rude and pushy when seen. The bathrooms were not maintained. The pace was expected for a public course. Know your skill and patience before playing.

Always been a good layout plagued by lack of of conditioning.
That's unchanged. Greens were wonderful. Fairways are the worst I've seen in maybe 25 years. Traps were unplayable.

All dirt course
Fun course to bring your dirt bike to! Not the best for golf. Fairways are 95% hard dirt and gopher holes. If you dont mind playing "pick up and move my ball to grass" ball, its playable. Secure your belongings in the cart, its gonna be a bumpy ride.

The Okies would have fled this dust bowl
The fairways consist solely of dirt and snake holes. I almost lost a 250 drive down the fairway in a hole in the middle of the fairway. One of many. All of this and the greens are grossly overwatered. Kneeling down to line up a shot craters the ground beneath. Brutally bad conditions. Golf carts were solid.

This course is a MUST SKIP! The course is in horrible shape. Gopher holes everywhere. No grass on 90% of the fairways. Not worth the money I paid to play.

Don’t play here. As nice as they are and good pace of play, conditions are terrible here and I’m told that is normal.

I needed a shower
Course was one of the worst I have ever played, if there were fairways I have no idea where they were as it was all cemented dirt and gofer holes everywhere including the cemented sand traps. The greens were the only thing in good condition. I understand that it’s a municipal course but they could at least try and water the dirt and grow some grass.

Golf Course is a Stretch
There was no playable fairways for 99% of the course. The greens were great so I have not idea why they can't maintain their fairways. To charge people is a crime.

If I could give it 0 stars, 100 percent I would.
This course should be closed. There was no grass on the fairways at all. Honestly I have never seen a course in such bad shape. I heard all kinds of reasons from the guys I played with, but I can not fathom why this place stays open. Keep the range and the practice facility, they are great. But they should seriously close the course for good. Dont waste your money... golf somewhere else.

Horrible
This was the worst course I have ever played. NO grass at all on the fairway. All mud or dirt. Can not believe they charged me $35 to play. This course should be shut down.
