About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

DO NOT PLAY
DO NOT PLAY HERE. This is literally my first review of anything and I have to let others know. This is by far the worst golf course I have EVER played at. $45 to play here on a weekend and $37 to play during the week? I wouldn’t even consider playing here for $10. Tee boxes are iffy, greens are okay, but there is literally ZERO grass in any fairway 1-18. They need to shut this place down to renovate because I cannot see how anyone would want to return here after they play here. Just posting in hopes that someone might read this and that I might sway at least one person not to play here. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE EXCUSE OF A COURSE.

Links at Victoria 11-14-20
Every hole is dirt from tee box to green.My foursome was saying $30/person is too much. Worst course conditions I've ever played on in 40 years of golfing. I know this was a land fill but I've played this course about 20 years ago and it wasn't in bad condition. Today, there were pits throughout the fairway, gopher holes and very little grass. This is the condition of every hole. I was wondering why I was able to book on Wednesday afternoon two foursomes between 8:00am and 9:00 on a Saturday. See photos.

Possibly the single worst course in America
This course would be good as a dog park. Your better off staying at home and chipping the ball in your backyard, because I guarantee you the grass is better there. The fairways are 90% DIRT!!! How can they call this a golf course? This is despicable. This golf course is a disgrace to the game of golf. The pro shop is an absolute dump. I’m writing this review to warn other golfers. This is not a golf course. This is hard dirt with patches of weeds here and there. They should PAY people 45$ to play here. This course is poorly managed, maintained, and described. I am utterly with this course and everything this course stands for. Shame on you Victoria’s Golf course!!

Course needs a makeover
The fairways are mostly hard packed dirt with gopher holes all over. The sand traps are more like dirt traps and the only difference between the traps and the fairways are, the traps have a lip. Unless you want to play on dirt, you can play ''lift and place' but you'll be challenged to find grass on the fairway..The greens are okay and its pretty easy to get a time.

Don’t play here
If you could give negative stars I would. This course is a dirt patch with holes scattered. It’s in terrible condition, the greens are decent but trying to play a second shot from dirt with hardly any grass to be seen makes for a frustrating round. The bunkers are full of rocks and not even raked before the first round of the day. Save your time and money, go elsewhere. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE.

Worst "Golf Course" I have ever played
This is easily the worst so called "golf course" I have ever played in my entire life. We quite after 9 holes because there was no grass anywhere on the course except the greens. How do this even happen? You have to really try to make a golf course condition this bad. What a complete waste of $45. How is this place even still open? Please, Please Please, do yourself a favor and cross this course off of your list. Save your $45 or spend it on something you might enjoy, because this place is not it. If I could give less than 1 star I would have.

Embarrassing
This place should be ashamed to call itself a golf course. The City of Carson and L.A. County should either completely renovate the course or close it down. The fairways are all hard packed dirt with gopher holes all over the place. You will ruin ur equipment playing on this. The conditions are the worst I have ever seen. Never ever, I mean Never ever again.

Dirty patch
This is the worst cap golf course in Los Angeles County. There are no Fairways there's only dirt out there and lots of gopher holes and all kinds of holes in the Fairway. I am so disappointed with this golf course it is so poorly maintained it's not worth playing at any price. I used to love this course. Looking forward to New Management taking over this course and bringing it back to its Glory.

Worst track EVER!!!!
Do not waste your money. It is by far the worst track I've ever seen. There's literally NO GRASS IN THE FAIRWAYS, NO SAND IN BUNKERS (ALL ROCKS). I wish I read reviews before booking. They should give me my money back.

Having come from Carlsbad (north county san diego), found this course and decided to play.
Although the course is in somewhat rough shape fairway wise, I enjoyed the course as a whole. It was a challenge to hit the ball off hard pan, however I looked at it as another challenge of golf. The greens were very spongy (time frame 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.) but I was able to find the right power and speed to grab 3 pars and a birdie after about the 7th . One can only imagine there being plush fairways at one time. Maybe again, one day in the future.
Otherwise looking forward to visiting again. Had fun.

Terrible fairway conditions...
I’d definitely say this course has more dirt than grass, and that is no exaggeration! The tee boxes were in poor condition as well. I think the greens were decent, but the rest of the course is an eyesore. So sad, course layout has a lot of potential.
