About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Dirt fairways
I haven’t played in 10 years. Fairways are mostly dirt. This is the worst course I’ve ever played.
I heard this course was going to be closed. The conditions should be clearly advertised if no maintenance at all is occurring.
Greens
The fairways were always bare with dirt but now it’s even worse. The greens were always good and a reason to go back even with bad fairways but now even the greens are bad and dying. Not worth full price even with the $5.00 discount at the starter.

Victoria Links
The course was as expected. They are going to close it and they haven't put any money in maintaining it. I love the layout and the greens, but the fairways are barren.

No fairway.
As many people are writing, fairway does not have any grass and all bare ground. Many pebbles in the Bunker. Only green is fine.

Unplayable conditions
Fairways have no grass and we get the impression that there is no maintenance. Grounds are riddled with gopher holes and hard pan areas. 80% hard pan areas. This course needs serious rehab.

THE WORST GOLF COUSE EVER!
I KNOW YOU WONT BELEIVE ME IF I TELL YOU THE IS WORST COURSE EVER. FAIRWAYS ARE DIRT. NO LIE. GREENS ARE SLOPPY AND WET. DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT GOLF HERE . YOU WILL BE VERY DISSAPOINTED. THE GOLF SHOP GUY TOLD ME "OH, YOU DONT READ REVIEWS?". THIS COURSE SHOULD ME CONDEMNDE .

Don't play here
Absolutely the worst golf course I've ever played. The fairways are overrun by gophers. You are lucky if your ball lands on grass much less miss falling into one of the hundreds of gopher holes. Save your money, time and frustration and go play somewhat else.

Nice greens dirt fairways
At least we were able to play in our time window on Sat with only a days notice. Greens were very nice. Plush, but a little slow. Fairways were about 80% dirt. We just moved our ball to a nearby spot of grass. Tee boxes were pretty good too.

Sand galore
If you’d like to play from dirt fairways this is the place if you’d like to challenged yourself from playing the worst fairways ever you can waste your money playing this course

Dirt galore
This is definitely not worth the money dirt galore I was having trouble finding grass we set up the rule between my friends just because of that course you can drop it 10 feet around if you can find grass,,

Never Again
It is a dirt lot! Even if you land in the fairway. Your second shot is the same as hitting on the cart path! You can/will damage your irons because the dirt is hard as concrete (No Exaggeration)! The City of Carson should be a shame that they are charging $40 to play. It should be close and remodeled!

Would not recommend!
This is by far the worst course I’ve ever played. 90% of the FAIRWAYS have no grass on them! (Photo attached) The sand traps would be a challenge for even PGA level players. The only saving grace is that the greens are in decent condition. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this course to anyone.

Poor maintenance and terrible course conditions
Terrible, terrible, and terrible. The course is absolutely not well maintained. The club house had to ice to provide. We felt like we were ATV golfing. This course is a cross between playing in the desert and jungle of Africa minus the animals.
