Victoria Golf Course

There is realistically no fairways. It's only dirt. Greens and chipping areas are improved. I booked a 540 tee time and pro shop staff opened at 630. All arround weird day. Shot 86 which all things considered was a fine score. If they hire more people to expedite the fairway rehabilitation it would be a very forgiving course for beginner golfers. Driving range and chipping area are really what I come here for .

I was wondering why they had so many time slots open on Saturday morning ! Now I know ! Only 2 holes had grass !! The rest was mudd and dirt !

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience yesterday. Despite my excitement to play, the course failed to meet my expectations.

the course conditions were really bad. The greens were patchy and uneven, and the fairways were littered with divots and debris. Also it was just dirt on the fairways. The whole course was one big sand pit It was clear that the course had not been properly

Overall, my experience was a letdown, and I would not recommend it to anyone. With so many other great courses in the area, there's no reason to settle for subpar conditions.

The fairways leave a lot to be desired, and the edges of the course are wildly overgrown. The greens run good, the layout is fantastic, and you can’t beat the price.

Not kept at all you will lose balls in the middle of the fairway.

Good price tho will probably go back based on price lol

I think some people need to chill. The golf course has really come a long way since that Bob Does Sports episode. Half the fairways are pretty bad but the greens and tee boxes are decent. Give it some time before it all comes together. They're obviously putting money into it. This course works well for a good practice round. I like that you can book or walk in and play right away. I like that u don't have to have pay a monthly membership to book a tee time.

I should have watched the now infamous “Bob Does Sports” YouTube video before I went to play this course. I’ve played many courses in many states in the U.S. I’m not a good golfer per se (90’s), but this course is the most absurd.

It cannot be overstated that the fairways are tortuous due to massive bald and baron areas on almost every hole. Ironically, the tee boxes and greens are in pretty good (4 out of 5) shape.

The out of bounds and cart paths are mediocre but mostly paved if I remember correctly.

If there was some way to get grass filled in the fairways, this would be a decent course, minus the methane gas smell on some of the holes.

Overall, I’d say if you are in LA area, you might want to take advantage of playing this course. You’d have a story to tell other golfers your experience.

I can see the improvements; the practice facilities are getting better, they have good carts, they are trying to get an alcohol license at the restaurant, they are growing more and more grass (!!!). They still have a loooong way to go, it will be years until it is a decent course. The biggest problem right now is the staff, the two older gentleman who work the desk are not good by any standard. They do not know what they are doing, they are clearly there as a last resort for staffing and similarly for a lot of the staff they just seem to be unhappy working there. It’s one thing to be rude, it’s another thing to be bad at your job, and if you don’t want to be there or get frustrated at your job, maybe it’s time to look somewhere else. The new management has a vision, they need to get rid of the old staff who are not helping the vision.

The his is a dog track. Not a blade of grass in the fairways. The greens are fluffy and slow as molasses. The golf carts are broken down and in poor repair with essentially no suspension. I feel like I need a chiropractor after bouncing around for 9 holes. Yes I said 9 holes, it was so bad I chose not to stay and play the back 9 that I’d already paid for.

I feel like a refund and an apology are in order. If it wasn’t for the operations manager being friendly I would give this place 0 stars.
