About
The Links at Victoria Golf Course has a convenient location in Carson that is easily accessible from the South Bay, downtown Los Angeles, or Orange County. William Bell, the mastermind who crafted the Torrey Pines courses, also designed the Links at Victoria. The course has a traditional design that features wide, gently undulating fairways and large, well manicured greens. It's not an overly challenging course but there are some holes that will make you think and you'll find that accuracy and a good strategy are both generously rewarded. The wide-openness of the front nine provides a gentle start to the golf course while the tighter back mine presents greater challenges. It's a good round for learning beginners and more advanced golfers will find it to be a fun, quick round for an affordable price.

Review of Victory Links
The staff was pleasant. The cart was fine. The problem was the conditions of the course with little grass and a great deal of dirt. It was difficult to drive the cart because of the rough conditions. There was no cart path throughout.
Relaxing
Victoria has poor fairways, but don't let that discourage you from playing here. Think of it as practicing a tough lye every shot. Because of the conditions, there isn't much traffic on the course (driving range is packed most of the time) especially on the morning and twilight hours. You can take your time and enjoy; find those missing balls The greens are good and the staff is friendly. My home course.

Nothing new
It's the same old thing with Victoria golf course. Greens are usually in good condition but the fairways have gotten to the point where you have to move your ball every hole to find grass to hit from. Sometimes you have to move it a few yards sometimes you have to move it 10 to 15.
But, if you're just looking to smash the ball around at a really good pace and at a really cheap price then this is your place.

Hole 1 and 2 and 10 and 11 the worst fairways I’ve ever seen I know it was cheap but hadn’t been there for a while all dirt fairways a bit much even for the price

More Dirt than Fairway grass
The fairways were terrible, consist mostly of dirt patches, and almost no grass, and they were bumpy. The tee boxes and Greens were fair but you couldn’t get me to go back there.

This course is so bad.
All of fairways are like bare ground.
There is no lawn there but weeds.

Worst course I’ve ever played in my life!
The fairways had NO grass. It was a mix of weeds or large bare patches. Lost many balls hit in the middle of the fairway. The only nice thing about the course were the putting greens and the complimentary bright colored golf balls which I understood why they were provided. The course is in need of a reseeding. I don’t understand how these conditions can exist and players allowed to play.

Lives up to the hype
Price point is definitely too high for a course with no grass, but I guess that keeps people away. Tee boxes and greens were in good condition, and the starter gave us ample warning of the conditions.
My overall experience was 10/10. Would play here again.

Worst course I've ever played
The starter asked if we had read any online reviews, apologized for the condition of the fairways, and told us the course is going to be closed down. I'm shocked that I got an email asking for a review. The layout would be great if the course were legitimately playable but the conditions are embarrassing.
