Victoria Golf Course

I prepayed for power golf cart but they don't have a cart enough we wait over one hour still we don't get a cart. So we walked with payed the cart fee. Disappointed.

Don't waste your money. There is NO grass on the fairways. None. It's all mud and rocks. greens and around the green is ok. But there is NO grass in the fairway, it's hard-packed dirt.

OK I have to say first of all… It’s kind of like playing on the moon. Quite possibly the most barren landscape you’ll ever see for a fairway. It’s pretty much all dirt with sporadic patches of grass. Driving a golf cart across It has to be the most kidney jarring experience ever. Having said that The tee boxes are well-kept with grass and the greens are actually really nice. The staff was super helpful and even kind of apologetic about the fairways. There’s a lot of rumors about why the fairways are in such horrible shape. The one thing I will say is it was an enjoyable, layout, and absolutely no problem with slow pace of play . In fact, I joined up with a single woman there, and we had the nicest time with nobody in front of us or behind us. All in all I have to say is pretty good experience, except for the fact that you kind a need to lift and place your ball onto a patch of grass whenever you hit it.

It has been years since I last played there. Friends told me of the poor conditions but I desperately wanted a practice round prior to a tournament and that was the only course with decent tee times. The first hole didn't have much of a fairway and at noon, there was still so much mud which made it difficult to get a decent stroke. Most of the holes were lacking grass but more so on the front nine than the back nine. The greens, however, were great!!!

If the golf course would close off one hole at a time and fix it. I believe that would improve the conditions of the course I personally would not mind skipping one whole just to see this place more green and beautiful.

The recent history of the course is well documented. It’s going through a slow death. Unfortunate the county is letting golf go by the wayside. One way to improve the situation is to simply spray paint markings on the cart path to hundred 150 200 yards from green

Green are in good shape! Fair way not so well, very challenging when there is barely any grass.

The recent reviews are 100% accurate. The fairways are dirt and the rough is not cut. I would not play here.

The fairways are dead and they aren’t coming back, apparently the reclaimed water they have to use to water the course is brackish and kills the grass yeso the fairways are mostly dirt. You can tell the course was at some point nicely designed but that can’t overcome the complete lack of grass. Not many other people play so you’ll never have to wait at the tee box but I would not recommend this unless you are very skilled and have low standards.

Like golfing in the desert. No grass or any maintained playing surface (only patches) between the tee and the green. Ended up moving a lot of balls so as not to damage my clubs.

If you're planning on playing at The Links at Victoria, then you're in for a treat! The tee-box grass needs to be cut while at the same time, there's nothing to cut on the fairways. The greens are the only great take-away from this course and a couple of the back-9 holes are still in good condition and haven't been hit by the curse of the underground wasteland. The Course Layout has always been great, perfect driving holes and challenging distances for lower swing speed players. Very unfortunate that the groundskeepers have to face this problem but it's something that was bound to happen.

No secret Victoria's fairways need to be fixed. I overcome that by using a mat where there is no fairway grass. The greens and areas around the green are excellent. This makes pitching and chipping fun. Tees are good. There has been increased Mx staff and it has begun to show, the course conditions are getting better. Traffic is light so pace of play is really good. I can play 18 holes in under 2 hours. If you are looking for a relaxed practice round, Victoria is an excellent place to do that. They also charge less than the other closeby munis because of the fairway conditions. It is a real bargain.

All the fairways are without grass. They’re all covered with dirt and mud and bumpy. Ended the round extremely sore because of the bumpy fairways. Will never play there again.

I give this course zero stars.

Many of the courses are dirt grounds without grass. I can't really call there a golf courses. I stopped to play halfway.

My home course. Fairways are super rough (lots of dirt and mud) but it has a good layout and great staff. Fun to play and have a beer. Grat value during twilight rates.
