About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Great course....slow pace of play.
The greens and fairways were in great shape for the summer. Lots of folks out playing so the pace of play was dreadfully slow on a Sunday morning.
Zellwood is... Zellwood
If you played here before, Zellwood Station is like it always has been. Mostly surrounded by manufactured houses, the greens and fairways are good, everything else is bumpy, sandy and rough. It's fairly wide open but there's areas where you definitely do not want to be, like the ravines on 9, 13, 14, 15, and 16. Fun course. The prices and the people are great.
Nice course
Had a great time today. Course is challenging for a high handicaper like myself, lots of elevation changes. Some tee boxes and greens were not in the best shape but it was only a few. Fairways were beautiful however. A bit hard to navigate the course, layout is not easy to follow, but they have a nice map on the back of the card to follow. Staff was great, Tim was friendly and helpful. I went solo and was early, he made sure I started in front of a foursome of older guys that would have slowed me down significantly. Will play again for sure
Just Ok
The course had more rough spots than good spots - the tee boxes and the first cut/rough around the greens were especially bad. Pace of play was on the slower side, but not terrible I guess. Staff was very friendly, including the bartender. May play again in the future, but wouldn't be in a hurry with the other options in the area.
Value Course, Great Customer Service!
I play here all the time and from tee to green the conditions are good( not great) but for the price a great deal! Greens are pretty good, some tee boxes need some TLC.
The best thing to note is the customer service from Terry in the pro shop. She is an exceptional asset to Zellwood and all of my friends who come there say the same. A great representation for the course and wish all courses could have an employee to greet players like she does! Kudos to Zellwood for hiring top notch customer service personnel!
Good
Usually great play for a beginner like me. This past time there was a league play with a few large groups and got stuck behind them and they wouldn’t let my three guy group play through. It took 6 hours to play 18. First time this had happened to us. Won’t stop is from going back
