About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Hot day
Other than it being very hot. And play was slow this date the course is in great shape only one green had a couple of blemishes (18th) but the greens and fairways are in great shape

Great change of pace
The elevation changes were even bigger than I expected. Totally different from any other course in the Orlando area.

Overall very nice course
This is an overall nice and challenging course.... I think the staff is great..always pleasant and helpful 5 stars.Like the restaurant especially after playing 18 ...great parking area all in all will certainly be back..

Great value and cool layout
This course is a great value for the area. The layout is very challenging, enjoyable and picturesque. The staff is friendly and accommodating, overall this is a must try if in the area. Not the best course conditions, but absolutely playable, similar to a great local muni.

Greens much faster
Played here 3 weeks prior and greens were fuzzy and slow, yesterday they were very fast and true, but a bit on the bumpy side. Would play it again.

Lots of Elevation Change
it was nice to play a course with different elevations. Some holes had significant changes in elevation from the T-box to the green. It was nice to play a course that wasn't flat for the most part. Most courses in the area do not have many elevation changes. It was a nice change.

Course allows anyone living there to jump in front of paying customers.Needs to keep All players tee times with a starter not allowing groups to do what ever.
