About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Great value and cool layout
This course is a great value for the area. The layout is very challenging, enjoyable and picturesque. The staff is friendly and accommodating, overall this is a must try if in the area. Not the best course conditions, but absolutely playable, similar to a great local muni.

Greens much faster
Played here 3 weeks prior and greens were fuzzy and slow, yesterday they were very fast and true, but a bit on the bumpy side. Would play it again.

Lots of Elevation Change
it was nice to play a course with different elevations. Some holes had significant changes in elevation from the T-box to the green. It was nice to play a course that wasn't flat for the most part. Most courses in the area do not have many elevation changes. It was a nice change.

Course allows anyone living there to jump in front of paying customers.Needs to keep All players tee times with a starter not allowing groups to do what ever.

Course has good features
Course is in good shape, greens have recovered from aeration.
A Hidden Gem
This was my first time playing at zellwood. I was looking for a course nearby to play nine holes as it was my first time playing in about a year due to back issues. I was very happily surprised at the value that we received throughout the day. The course isn't top tier but it's kept in very good condition and played very well. Given that it's only 15 minutes for me I will be back here again and again. Thank you.

Was a good course but struggling on maintenance
Most tee boxes bare, greens are horrible, cost equals conditions so okay for a practice round. Overall, you can do better at a course costing twice as much. Needs a lot of work to get in the condition it was years ago.
Needs work
Really like Zellwood. But just like a lot of affordable courses in this area it needs some work. Some of the tee boxes are in rough shape. And a lot of the greens have some sort of decease on them and are not in good condition. It's a shame because they just aerated and you would have hoped the aeration would have left the greens in good playing condition.

Good course
Good value for the money. Great prices for food and beverages.
Some holes needs attention but in overall the course has a good condition.
Some unexpected hills to be in Orlando.
*2 holes are close to the open range… bring a color ball to play those holes, the area could be full of white balls.
