About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

A Hidden Gem
This was my first time playing at zellwood. I was looking for a course nearby to play nine holes as it was my first time playing in about a year due to back issues. I was very happily surprised at the value that we received throughout the day. The course isn't top tier but it's kept in very good condition and played very well. Given that it's only 15 minutes for me I will be back here again and again. Thank you.
Was a good course but struggling on maintenance
Most tee boxes bare, greens are horrible, cost equals conditions so okay for a practice round. Overall, you can do better at a course costing twice as much. Needs a lot of work to get in the condition it was years ago.
Needs work
Really like Zellwood. But just like a lot of affordable courses in this area it needs some work. Some of the tee boxes are in rough shape. And a lot of the greens have some sort of decease on them and are not in good condition. It's a shame because they just aerated and you would have hoped the aeration would have left the greens in good playing condition.

Good course
Good value for the money. Great prices for food and beverages.
Some holes needs attention but in overall the course has a good condition.
Some unexpected hills to be in Orlando.
*2 holes are close to the open range… bring a color ball to play those holes, the area could be full of white balls.

Good course but some rough edges.
Overall in good shape, greens are good, couple of greens need tlc, fairways are ok, but no rough to speak of, lots of bare ground, chances of hitting from dirt very likely.
I would play again.

Go play at the Z!
I have not played this course in a long time, could not havebeen more happy with what I saw! Certainly not the high end golf course with fancy stuff but it was a great value and a perfect day. Staff was awesome. Yes, they are more senior but fantastically polite and fun!
Go and play, lots of elevation chnages and challenges!

Better than most , better than most
The course is in better shape than most of the courses around, good value for the money, pace of play could be a little bit better.

I had a minor problem booking my round and Stan took care of it over the phone, going way beyond what I was expecting. The course is challenging with many blind shots but for me, it is worth the 35 minute drive. See you again Stan.
