About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Great Value
This is a friendly well managed short course. The layout is good with a few uphill and downhill holes compared to mostly flat courses in the area. Attention to the greens is noted as they are looking better with a nice true roll. It is my to go course due to proximity to where I live.

Worth the drive
Course in great shape considering the dry weather conditions, washrooms are clean and stocked!

Peaks and Valleys
The overall course could could use a little bit of TLC. It would then be awesome with the peaks and valleys, and blind greens. After you played the course, a few times you can then remember where to place your shots for the blind greens and valleys you don’t see. A bit more interesting than just a flat course. We did enjoy ourselves and will come back.

Good course, challenging. Fairways & greens were good, tee boxes weren't bad but some needed improvements. Good carts.

Still needs some love
Played here for the first time- kind of felt like over hill and over dale- lots of blind tee shots. The greens were in good shape- fast and small. The tee boxes need some real work. I played from the Whites and over half were in bad condition. The fairways are narrow but not much grass- yes I know it is March but other courses in the area have better coverage. Needs some love but is a challenging course- good value at $30- not so much at $40 plus.

The pace of play was perfect, the greens were fast and responsive.

Tricky, wacky course setup
Was a good price through golfnow so had to give it a try. It's a short course .. a regular hitter will get in trouble slamming the driver constantly. Didn't like all the blind shots .. having to drive 100 yards to see if you can hit isn't good time management. Was good for a quick round ... greens were wacky .. many areas of the green aren't even legal because of the rolls, hardly ever a straight putt. Would be great for putt-putt.

Elevation
The green are good and really sloped. Great for the money! Nice elevation change. I really enjoyed this course.

Zellwood Station
This is a very challenging course. As a senior I played the Green Tee’s.
While the greens are in excellent shape the slope of four of the greens made putting almost impossible. Pool table hard with pin placements on high points of the greens. Good luck!
You may need an extra ball or two. You take the course as you find it and enjoy the test.
