About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Good test of golf
The staff were most helpful and the greens were very good and the fairways were ok i do think that their should be more signs to advise players to repair their divots and pitch marks and to look after the course generally.

Okay for funday
This was our first time here. Greens and fairways were in very good shape but runouts and other areas were terrible. Many times it is necessary to move the ball to find a semblance of grass., people friendly. Pace of play just ok. We had a group of 5 in front of us so too much waiting. We do not have it our the list to go back. There is also several blind shots. Uphills and around..

Zellwood Station
Hadn’t played the course in a few years and was pleasantly surprised with improvements made on the greens, as well as fairways and tee boxes.

The day started off slow but as it went on it got better, The course needs some work but as do all

Nice course
Would play this course again. The pace ahead of us was very good. We should have played a little faster, but had a new golfer with us.

Surprised by the hills
Never played a course in Florida like this. I like the holes where the train wreck was at. I just enjoyed playing the course and seeing the layout and up and down the hills. It was very fun me and my wife really enjoyed it. We will be going back, hope I can do better on the train wreck holes 🤣

Fairways and greens are good

We played this last year for the first time and forgot how much we enjoyed it. We played on a Sunday so it was a bit slow starting out. Greens and fairways in good shape overall. Rough is spotty but most courses are the same this time of year. We will be back for sure. Very playable from all tee boxes.

Winter conditions
Love the course. Can’t blame the course for winter conditions. Course was fantastic last summer and fall.
It would really be nice if people would fix the ball marks, sand divots, and rake bunkers.

Allways overbooked with no one to keep up the pace.
