About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Hill course, windy conditions.
This course is good, but needs attention. The greens are pretty rough, bare patches and burned out grass. Off the fairways there is lots of bare spots, most likely you will be hitting from sand or dirt. They need to grow some grass and it will be much better.

Good course layout, needs attention.
Overall this course is good, hilly with blind shots and interesting greens. Conditions can be much better, greens are beat up, oil spills, bare patches. Fairways are good, but outside the fairways it is very rough, no grass or very little. The course has great potential, just needs TLC.

Nice course, terrible staff!
Love playing this course, but when I arrived I was greeted with, ‘ Your Late’!! Not glad your here, have a good time. I drove a long way to play the course and was treated like crap!! Never again.

A day on the golf course
Played one of my best games yesterday. The course was in good shape. Play was slower than other times I've played, but I was playing later than I usually play. Perhaps others were taking advantage of the discount program I was using. I like this course. It challenges me.

Nice course
A bit of a ride from Clermont, but worth it. Nice course with very good conditions from tee to green. Rough areas, are …rough but overall very good conditions. Friendly staff, newer carts and bathrooms on the course.
We were the first group out at 7:00. Played at our own pace and finished in just under 3 hours.

Hills course, improving
This has hills, unusual for a Florida course. Makes it fun to play, but it needs some attention. The greens are ok but several dead or damaged spots, fairways are decent but have bare dirt. Overall a fun course to play, but grass needs to wake/grow to make it a better experience.

Local course
Probably ok for those that live in the gated community, but odd layout and in poor shape. Many blind shots into greens. Got caught behind fivesom of very old, slow gentleman . Would not recommend and will not be back.

Zellwood
Fun track with lots of topography. Watch out for the Train Wreck and the Crater. Some blind shots.

Hilly course, good layout, fun to play.
This course is in good shape, grass is growing and I can't wait to see it then. Overall a good experience, some areas need a little help but this time of the year you can expect that. Some blind shots, and placement is key on this course. I will play again, very different than most Florida courses.

There was a younger gentleman with 4 kids just lollygagging on the course. There were 4 twosomes waiting for them after hole 12. Besides that it was all good but a situation like that really takes you out of rhythm.
