About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Bit of a drive but worth it
Played in Feb so course is dormant. Over seeded greens and fairways were in good shape. played behind a tournament so a little slow. still 41/2 hours. Good layout, some blind shots. Paid $44 using golf now, pro shop said we could have booked cheaper by calling them. Northwest side of metropolitan Orlando. A few tough par 55's around depressions/water but overall a fair, medium difficulty golf course.

Course in really good condition. Great layout and Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in great shape.

Nice day on the course
First time playing this course. Hilly with several blind shots. The course was full but at 4:15 the duration wasn't too bad. The course was in good shape overall. Probably too far away for a repeat visit (from Celebration), but overall a nice neighborhood course.

Zellwood
A go to course. Easily accessible off the 429. Not far from Disney. Challenging layout with lots of topography. Watch out for the Train Wreck and the loop around the crater. Both could bring your game to its knees.

Fun course
Not a lot of places to get in trouble. Hills and blind shot lead to some fun approaches

Course was okay but not what I am used to in the Orlando area. It would be a good warm up round. However the pace of play was great. Finished in three hours and fifty minutes.

SLOW PLAY
One group holding up play, no ranger to speed it up or ask them to let faster players go through. 2 plus hours to get to #10 on such a short course.

Good course for your money
I always call Zellwood an ego boosting course due to its forgiving layout. The course was in good shape, tee box to fairway to green.
Pace of play was good - went around 3 pm on Sunday, was as expected.

Too many blind shots
Course in good conditions. Speed of greens excellent. I would not want to play here on a weekend though. There are too many holes where you cannot see the group in front of you once they go over the hill. You either have to drive up to the hill rest or wait until you see them on the green.
