About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Very slow threesome that would not let anyone through. No ranger to speed up play

Greens were covered with sand making it somewhat difficult to determine speed. Grass was long due to recent rains and it was hard to find the ball especially in the morning. This is a hilly course.

Horrible pace of play
The pace of play is horrible. There were several groups of 5 and 6 in front of us. Only had a twosome and no one would let you play through. The overbooking has always been a problem here. Tried to give them another shot after having this issue before and still no change. Took almost 3 hours to just play 9. Left and didn't play the back.. Probably the last time we will play there.

The tract was in great shape greens were excellent I broke 80 and got me a great pair of golf shoes while I was there

this course has good variety of holes . uphill , down hill, dog legs blind shots to the greens.fair ways and greens usually in good shape., rough could be spotty. fellow golfers and staff are very friendly. always an enjoyable experience.

Good day
The course is in the type of shape I would expect. We had weeks with no rain now we have some days of very hard rain. Most of the greens were good but slow because of the rain. I would play this course every month if I could.

6 Hours!
Our threesome went to Zellwood Station today to enjoy a great course that is always well-maintained. The course was beautiful and the staff and the clubhouse was nice, however they overbooked and we started 20 minutes late.. that turned out to be the least of all the ways as the round took six hours. Everyone was backed up and the staff did nothing to attempt to rectify it. This is the first time it has been like this hotel would station so I will mark it off as an anomaly and will return.
