About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

plenty of uphill, side hill challenges which I like and are hard to find in Florida. It was crowded but still was close to 4 hours. It’s not in great condition right now but still an enjoyable round. Better value than most
Not first time playing here
Been here several times. Some tees and greens need over seeding but otherwise in pretty good shape.

Not Bad
Seems like the fairways and greens have new grass. Some tee boxes need work. Bunkers in good shape but I wish people would rake or at least drag your feet coming out instead of leaving footprints. We had a threesome, the starter put a single with us to make four, the put two twosomes out behind us. Either put the single with a twosome or pair up the two twosomes to make four. Pace of play got awkward. Restaurant staff friendly as always. Not a bad choice!

Not the best
Pro shop attendant unfriendly , starter friendly but allowed a twosome without a tee time to jump in front of us. Play was very slow. Course has some quality holes and overall course condition was okay

Overall good course, needs a little work, but it was also the colder seaon.

Very Enjoyable
I've been playing here for many years and have always enjoyed my experience. The course layout is very interesting and can be quite challenging. Although the greens are not always in the best condition, that may be a seasonal issue due to weather. I think this is a very good value and enjoy having a beverage or a meal in the restaurant after playing.

Challenging course. blind tee shots , hilly track must hit the ball straight or you're on a hillside or 20' down in a ravine. easy to lose balls

Great Value
Played this course more often lately. Its a fun little track, with short easy holes and longer more challenging holes. It always plays pretty quick at about 3 to 4 hours tops (even on a Sunday morning). The greens leave a lot to be desired, but for the price you'll pay, I dont think you'll complain. For the price, it can't be beat.

quite surprised
nice course with some nice hills, which is a nice change from orlando courses. was in good condition. heck of a value for the price. clubhouse/ dining area looked like and old high school kitchen lunchroom. overall would definitely recommend

Super slow greens
Course has a challenging layout but the greens were very very slow and wet irrigation literally came on during the round on more than one occasion once while on the green putting, looks like more work needs to go into getting greens up to “par” lots of potential to be a great course not there yet.
On a positive note the staff were very polite.

Poor greens
Greens were wet, muddy, shaggy, bumpy and extremely slow. I've played here 5-6 times and the greens were always very acceptable. Hope today was an aberration and good conditions will return.

Terrible greens
The only thing worse than the condition of the course is the staff. Stay away.

Sprinkler Alert
On both hole number 1 & 9 The sprinklers were on and we got drenched on number 9. We left after that.
