About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Construction everywhere
There were at least five holes with bulldozers on them working around the greens and they never stopped when golfers came near them golf etiquette is horrible the course is born in great shape just not worth recommending this close to anyone
Pro Shop staff much improved, great experience.!
We have played Zellwood many times over the years. We since stopped several years back because of the horrible pro who ran the place (last name Tyler As i recall). His customer service skills were sorely lacking... arrogant and rude.
After revisiting recently, we found a much better experience with new staff. A great bunch of people!
This is a hidden gem of a course and while not always in pristine condition, it sure as heck beats some of the other courses who claim to be "premier".
Kudos to the staff for being friendly and treating us with a bit more respect than the previous staff.
We will be back once again!

Okay. Needs work. Would be a must play if in better shape
The course has some good holes and some that need a lot of work
The pluses: It’s a fun layout with lots of interesting holes and blind shots. Sand traps are in great shape. Everything was mowed so there was no issue with losing balls in overgrown rough. Price is awesome
Minuses: most of the green need work. If it was wetter then most of the greens would be green mud. Multiple times you have to pick up and move your ball because of bare dirt on greens. Lots of nearby construction. Unsightly dirt piles and noise. Not really their fault but still a distraction
If this course was in better shape it would be a must play. It has great potential and if you can get a good rate, less than $25, play it. I paid more at Green Valley recently and it was worse, so go figure. Not terrible but....unfulfilled potential

No play
there was a torrential downpour,they wouldn't close the course,golf now didnt give an option for a rain pass.

Fun variety of holes
This is a fun course that everyone in Central Florida should try at least once. It has a good variety of different holes that make for an interesting round. There are multiple ways to play a few of the holes so it is fun every time. Bathrooms on the course, but no cart girl. Tee boxes were pretty chewed up in some areas, but the fairways were nice and the greens were mostly nice. Some of the greens were fantastic while others looked like they were getting TLC. I will come back here again!

Worth the money
This isn't a top tier course but it's in decent shape and for $1.50/hole with a cart, you can't go wrong. Highly recommend the deals you can find here and I'd go back at this price in a heartbeat.
