Situated just outside of downtown San Diego, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses as well as Pine Glen, an 18-hole, par-3 course. It may not have the same championship status as the other golf courses but its beautiful landscape of mature sycamores, towering oaks, and natural rock outcroppings is anything but run-of-the-mill. The course relies heavily on the natural hazards provided by the mountainous terrain but bunkers have been strategically placed along the rolling, well manicured greens for added challenge. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides great practice for more advanced players looking to work on their short game or just squeeze in a quick, casual round. In addition to the three very different courses, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan offers extensive practice facilities that include a grass driving range, a short game area with a sand bunker, and multiple practice greens.

fun par 3
Pine Glen is a fun par 3. Good for beginners and will also improve skilled players short games. Longest hole is around 200 yards, shortest around 85 yards. Great rate for a fun par 3.
great par 3
we always enjoy playing pine glen. holes range from 85 yards to 190 or so. good for a new golfer and good practice for an experienced one. staff and facilities are great. good way to spend an afternoon.
Good place to sharpen your short game
I sometimes play here to improve my short game and they are not usually busy on Friday. I was able to teed of earlier than my time and it was awesome as I was able to play at least three balls. There is no one behind me. The course was in good shape. On the day that I played, they push back the tee a little bit and put the flagsticks in challenging areas which I think is great. My problem is distance control and accuracy on my irons and I believe if I play here more often, I will probably drop a few strokes on my game. This is one par 3 course in San Diego that is on top of my list to practice. I highly recommend it.
Great Course for working your Irons
I had a great time working on my irons and took my wife that has only two years under belt playing. It’s excellent course for a novice. The greens and fairways are in great shape!
Over-rated
Rutted our dirt paths, full of ruts, tree roots, side hills, and dangerous turnarounds. Greens OK, fairways thin on grass, would not play it again except with wife. Poor in comparison to Willow!
Par for the course
The course is in excellent shape. We have had a ton of rain and it was not a problem.. the staff was great. Pace of play was fine. Would recommend this course to anyone
fun par 3 layout
Pine Glen is a fun par 3 layout. There are around four holes over 180 yards and also several 90 to 120 yard holes. Anyone would enjoy playing here.
A better player can work on their iron play and a beginner can just have fun and not be intimidated. It's a great way to get out and enjoy a day. The Singing Hills staff are always excellent.
Pine Glen Par 3 course
This was an excellent experience. Our tee time (3 people) was at 7:01 AM and we played all 18 holes. There was no one ahead of us and it was a long time before the 2some behind us caught up with us (at the 17th hole). In the many times we have played this course we have never felt pressured. This provides a great opportunity to work on your short game.

Great tune up
Par 3 track that is as nice as any course in the country club class. Sycuan has made the golf experience on all there courses a great find. Give any a shot you won't be disappointed.
Short game tune up!
Great par 3 course to fine tune your short game. The greens & fairways were in excellent condition and walking we finished in 2 1/2 hours. We saw cart girl 3 times during the round. I have played al the course's here and have and always have a great experience. The friendliest staff in the clubhouse as well. We will be back.
Short Game Challenge
Excellent and challenging course good for working on your short game

The course is fun to play. Good lay out. The pace of play was terrible.
I will probably won't play on a Sunday morning again.
Wednesday is crowded!
Still a great little course for sharpening your mid to short game, But Wednesday am is a test of patience.Ladies group early with men's senior group to follow (foursomes and fivesomes). By the time my "hot deal" teed off (10:46) it was hopelessly jammed. With the exception of tee boxes, most of the course is in reasonable shape, despite the over seeding.I will certainly continue to play and practice there, but NOT on Wed mornings.
NO RAINCHECK
We started to play our round and it started to rain on the second hole. It got harder and harder so we decided to leave after five holes. We didn’t even go back to pro shop because they had a note No Rainchecks. I wasn’t going to keep playing in because I have a cold.
Good time
Some Tee boxes had barely any grasp to hit off of. Other than that the greenswere nice and had a good time
