Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Pine Glen
About
Situated just outside of downtown San Diego, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses as well as Pine Glen, a 9-hole, par-3 course. It may not have the same championship status as the other golf courses but its beautiful landscape of mature sycamores, towering oaks, and natural rock outcroppings is anything but run-of-the-mill. The course relies heavily on the natural hazards provided by the mountainous terrain but bunkers have been strategically placed along the rolling, well manicured greens for added challenge. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides great practice for more advanced players looking to work on their short game or just squeeze in a quick, casual round. In addition to the three very different courses, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan offers extensive practice facilities that include a grass driving range, a short game area with a sand bunker, and multiple practice greens.

Needs maintenance
Rough was from 4 inches high to 15 inches. Very hard to find the ball if it got into higher rough.
US Open Rough
The course was in great shape, however, the rough was worse than Torrey Pines during tournament time. So if you play it keep a real close eye on your shots, along with your playing partners. The staff is great, but the price was a little steep. FORE!!!!
Challenging
Can’t find a better course to work on your short game
greart little corse
had a great time and will play here again
a smaller corse evens the field for my
short hitting brothers
Pine Glen ... ugh..
They have not maintained this course.... Even once, better than average greens, are in bad shape. Tee boxes are terrible... Sycuan needs to start spending $$ here...
Okay..needs work
Greens are good, roughs below average, fairways average, staff terrific, f&b good
Always get screwed on my birthday round
I have been. Gold club member for multiple years. My birthday is in October so I am always playing my “free” round ($18) cart fee on over seeded fairways. And cart path only. It’s the first time in 3 years I actually used my birthday round and it was terrible. I feel bad for my friend that played with me. Don’t think I can continue gold card unless you guys make some kind of exception while your over seeding.
Tee box horror
Below average fairways, very nice greens, putted well and perfect softness. However the tee boxes were not mowed but more importantly it seemed the tee marker positions had not been changed since 2018. Atrocious care which will lead to months of repair, reseeding and reconditioning. This is the same critique I had last year when I played it once.
Your maintenance staff gets an ‘F’ for the tee boxes and ‘A’ for greens, ‘C’ rest of course
Nice Par 3.
I like the course. The staff there are great. Always a challenge no matter how often I play. Good eats and the clientele is pretty laid back.
Highly recommended.
Singing Hill
Great course for a starting golfer and for a advanced golfer who wants to work on your irons and hybrid clubs shots.
Value for the money
Several tee boxes were under repair, greens could use some help with the old cup spots, overall a fun course.
Short game practice
Not a easy par 3 course. This course makes you play all your short game skills. You have to use your head as well as your golf skills to do well. This is a great way to hone the things you want to use in your long game.
Treated very well !
The greatest day ever!
Today I hit a hole in one and when I let Kim (the local pro) know about it, she went above and beyond to help me celebrate my shot with a certificate stating the facts about the hole in one. I showed her my card from 19 years ago when I got my first one and she laminated it because it was in bad shape.
Beat the rain for a great round
Course dried out around 10:30a. Enjoyed a great round of golf.
