Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Pine Glen
About
Situated just outside of downtown San Diego, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses as well as Pine Glen, a 9-hole, par-3 course. It may not have the same championship status as the other golf courses but its beautiful landscape of mature sycamores, towering oaks, and natural rock outcroppings is anything but run-of-the-mill. The course relies heavily on the natural hazards provided by the mountainous terrain but bunkers have been strategically placed along the rolling, well manicured greens for added challenge. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides great practice for more advanced players looking to work on their short game or just squeeze in a quick, casual round. In addition to the three very different courses, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan offers extensive practice facilities that include a grass driving range, a short game area with a sand bunker, and multiple practice greens.

New golfer
Great place for new golfers, pace is much faster on the weekends and mornings so wouldn't recommend new golfers around those times as it will hold others up, over all I like the course and can't really beat the price! Will continue to come in order to get my game better so I can start playing on the bigger nicer courses!
GREAT BEGINNERS OR PRACTICE COURSE
Well kept par 3 course, use irons on all but 2 holes,
Hot, but enjoyable
Overall a great time. There were a couple times when I felt I was interrupting the landscapers, but outside of that it was great.
Great course..
Fantastic course. Fun 18 holes, well maintained with a friendly staff. Very affordable. I'd recommend this course without hesitation.
Nice course
Pine Glen is a great par 3 course. However the bugs were really really bad. Wait till cooler weather to play here!
It's soooooo good
I'm fairly new at golf but out of the seven or eight different courses I have played it's the best I almost hate to rate it so high. Just afraid everyone will start going there. I know I will be back.
Pine Glen is a nice par 3 course
Good variety of holes. Challenging greens.
Staff is friendly. Excellent food and service in the restaurant.
Pine Glen
Fun course. Play it every week. Great for husband and wife to play together.
Great iron practice-great price!
I needed somewhere to hit some new irons that wasn't off a mat and found Sycuan. Course was in great shape and had varied distances allowing me to use most of my irons. I will play here often.
Great course for the $
This is a small par 3 course. Great value. The golf carts are the real deal. Touch screen scorecard with navigation. Would highly recommend.
Excellent greens
Great par 3 course, great for short game practice, the greens were in great shape, and pace was really good. Was perfect for playing with wife, not too long and not too short. I will go back, and the price was right.
Jusy like the big 2 only smaller
Course was in great shape, greens were in excellent condition just a little slow for my taste but great for a more novice golfer. One of my favorite courses in san diego especially to work on my short game in playing conditions and circumstances. Bunkers were excellent, pins were evenly spread out, some in front and some in back positions. Great day of golf all around.
great place to work on your short game.
Looking for a great place to work on irons and putter? Pine Glen in great shape, especially the greens. Rarely take out a club above a 7 iron, but thats where a lot of us have problems anyway. Reasonable rate ($20 weekend) to spend enjoyable productive 2.5 to 3 hours
Great place
Great condition, fun to play!!!! Great price every time!
Nice par 3
It is a long par 3 course. They should move two of the greens back a few feet and make it into par 4s
Pine Glen
This is a Par 3 Executive Course. My wife and I really like this course for working on our short game. Greens and fairways are always in excellent shape and for the money you can't beat it. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Really fun par 3 course!
Love playing the par 3 courses and this is definitely one of my favorites. I can actually feel like a decent golfer on this course!
