About
Situated just outside of downtown San Diego, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses as well as Pine Glen, an 18-hole, par-3 course. It may not have the same championship status as the other golf courses but its beautiful landscape of mature sycamores, towering oaks, and natural rock outcroppings is anything but run-of-the-mill. The course relies heavily on the natural hazards provided by the mountainous terrain but bunkers have been strategically placed along the rolling, well manicured greens for added challenge. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides great practice for more advanced players looking to work on their short game or just squeeze in a quick, casual round. In addition to the three very different courses, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan offers extensive practice facilities that include a grass driving range, a short game area with a sand bunker, and multiple practice greens.

Booked through GolfNow with discount - played for $10. First time here. Greens were in great shape for public course. Nice variety of holes distances to 200 yds. Great course to practice short game - tee to greens.

NIce Par 3 course
Nice par 3 course with good rolling greens. Pace of play wasn't reviewed (last time I played it was quick pace) as their was Junior tournament in front of us.

Delightful executive golf course with fine views
During the week pace of play great at this Very Delightful executive golf course with fine views and calm moments between holes. Greens in good shape and fairways are not tricky. Losing balls not an issue. Driving range and two compelling full courses at the resort. Nice patio restaurant and pro shop.

Great Executive Course
I love this course because I get to use pretty much every iron in my bag 5-SW. greens are always in decent shape so you can stick literally all of your approach shots. Great value. Speed of play is usually 2.5-3hrs.

Beautiful course
We play Pine Glen course once a month here, I love it. It’s nicely maintained, has very friendly helpful staff and the area is so peaceful and nice. I really like their golf carts as well!

Prices tripled for same course
Prices tripled yet no improvements to course. Can play a full 18 for same amount or cheaper with better course conditions nearby. Par 3 course should not be this much money unless course conditions improve drastically.

PINE GLEN
I have played this course over a dozen times and this was unfortunately the first time I have played here shortly after aerating the greens so that was a bummer. They do a great job taking car of the courses at Sycuan, staff is friendly, and the carts are great.
My favorite Par 3 in SD
Beautiful setting, fair price and friendly staff. Love playing Pine Glen par 3 because the holes are generally much longer than other execs, par 3s in San Diego. Really gives you an opportunity to hit some longer iron shots and hone your short game. Only reason I don't play more is because it's a little out of town, but if you have time, no reason not to check em out!
*the course plays damp earlier in the day, so bring something to wipe your clubs and balls down
Course needs more care
Greens were not cut fir days - ball was not running well on greens
Very bumpy and slow
Golf paths are dirt no concrete paths, bumpy and muddy
Great little exec course with a bit of everything
if you dont have time for the regulation courses here then this is a great way to hone your game . It has a bit of everything which will use all your clubs except your driver and maybe your 3 wood. It has bunkers. wat er r elevated greens with slopes and breaks and some nearly rough around the greens and off the fairways. Hit the ball straight and you will get birdies and pars but stray one and you will need another one. Great fun
Easy does it
Great course to get starter on, introduce someone new to the game, or sharpen your irons game. This is a very easy going location that is fun to play. I Would recommend this spot.
Good and not so good
Fairways and greens are good. Cart paths and tee boxes not so good. Those of us that must use a cart get pretty roughed up.. Drag em and fill the pot holes. Tee boxes are shaggy, and a few have very little grass. Overall a fun course with room for improvement.
