Wyncote Golf Club

I moved from the area so I haven't played there in awhile, I honestly miss the place. Very cool lynx style layout...nice elevation changes on open piece of land...nice to get away from houses etc...great greens with great true roll...check their twilight rates if your on a golf budget like me...I used to walk after the twilight kicked in...normal rates are worth playing this place...I'd put this course on your local bucketlist

Heard much about the course,it certainly lived up to its reputation .
Pleasant staff and even this late into the season,the course was a pleasure to play.

Nothing negative to share.first time playing there,will not be the last.

Wyncote is a great challenging layout, and have played it many times. Today it was in the 50s and winds at 15, which makes Wyncote with few trees much tougher. I teed off early as a single to practice with some new clubs and enjoyed the day. The course was soft from rain and most shots played 10-15 yards longer than summer.

Course was in great late season form, especially with a full day of rain Thirsday. Staff was friendly, the extra Captain Morgan in the hot chocolate on the turn hit the spot! Will be back to play again.

As usual, Wyncote was in extremely good condition. Greens were quick and true. Always an enjoyable round.

Course was in great condition for late October.
Greens were perfect. Fairways very good, a couple had a large amount of divots that weren't filled.
Back 9 was very slow as we caught up to a slow playing ladies' foursome

Yeah, the starter and guy inside are a bit surly, but whatever. This place is always great to play...fast greens (especially from above the hole) and thick rough. Keep it in bounds and below the hole to score. Aside from Glen Mills (2x as expensive) this is the best public course anywhere near West Chester.

Great place to play. No wind blowing today, only sunshine. Course probably is a beast when it blows!

An excellent track that is consistently in great shape, providing a great bang for your buck! The overall experience is well worth the drive.

Beautiful day matched with an immaculate venue. Great variety of holes, difficult par 3s, long uphill par 5s, and excellent greens. Worth the ride

I drove all the way down to Winco because I wanted to play a longer course that would challenge my game . I had not played here in several years, was expecting fast greens, tightly manicured fairways, and thick rough. Got 1 of the 3... course delivered on the rough, best rough of any public course I've played this year.

The greens were the slowest I've played in a long time, and the fairways were shaggy.

Don't go expecting the championship quality that they used to deliver... make no mistake, the course is still in excellent condition, it just seems like they cater to the mid/high handicap golfer now.

This was a fantastic golf outing. Due mainly to the course conditions. The bent grass fairways and greens were in emaculent conditions. The scenery surrounding the course was also fantastic.

Once again Wyncote has out done themselves. A truly great experience the course was in great shape.

You will not be disappointed! Superb conditions and all I can say is one of the best rounds of golf I have had.

When Wyncote opened back in 1993, the condition of the greens and overall course was pretty immaculate. While still one of the better public courses around, Wyncote's greens are not nearly being kept quite the same.. The greens used to be firm and now are mushy and full of ball marks.. The speed the greens once had is greatly diminished.. On this day, the tees were airated but there were plenty of good spots to tee from.. We had a pristine day of weather with small amounts of wind. The group had a great day and tons of fun and while Wyncote was not quite as pristine as I have seen it in the past, it still presented a big time challenge. Golf now also gave us a great deal of 35 dollars which made us all smile..

Wyncote is an excellent course and a good value. This round however was a nightmare in regards to pace of play. They were running about 30 minutes behind on tee times and it was a six hour round. Additionally, there was no Ranger in site to assist with the pace. This is the last weekend/afternoon round I play there.

Pristine conditions and for the first time I've played it with still wind conditions. Great layout and greens really rolled true and fast!

The condition of the course is amazing. Tees, fairways, and greens are perfect. The rough isn't to bad but can mess with you. Don't drive to far offline because the high fescue grass will eat your ball. The greens were quick but receptive. This course is on our list to play each year we travel to the area to visit family and will remain on our list.

Played here before, but was way too windy. Came back and loved it. Will come again even though it is a hike for me. Worth the time and effort to play again
