10th hole has video tracing, just like on TV. Somewhere inside everyone can see your shot and you can scan a QR Code by the clubhouse and share the link with friends of that shot and tracing Photo submitted by wevvie on 05/03/2022

Great beginners course
The Lakes at El Segundo is a fun little par 3 to work on your short game.
My Wife's First Round, Ever!
My wife took up golf, bought clubs, has been to the range and it was time to get on the course for the first time. We chose The Lakes as it's short, close by and zero pressure to perform.
It was a perfect outing, she hit the green twice and pared a hole.
And we're now a golfing couple. :)
Great Staff!! Awesome experience.
We had ourselves an issue with someone in our party. I won’t go into exact details however, the staff at Lake went way above and beyond to help us.
I’m not sure how we could’ve handle our situation without the help of the staff there.
Course it self is pretty cool. Really good for working on short game and newbies/family golf. Par 3 set up with 10 holes. Last hole you’re able to watch your shot on replay with topshot technology which is real cool.
Course can also be played at night. And is a good price considering LA courses are super expensive.
I will 100% play this course again.
It's Not the Old Lakes
After playing The Lakes at El Segundo for a decade, my family played the new Top Golf Lakes course this week. The two par 4's are gone, so no chance to use any long clubs. Most people will not need anything more than an 8 iron. Many bunkers have been eliminated to make the course much easier. The layout is pretty. Greens are well maintained. The T-boxes are hard as a rock, difficult to put Ts in the ground. I'm sure new players, kids will find the course fun, more accessible. I mourn the loss of a more challenging course. And the loss of wildlife. TopGolf promised El Segundo it would keep the wildlife habitat, though they left many geese high and dry during construction. An employee was overheard saying they had a dog to chase off geese currently. I enjoy seeing the geese and other wildlife. It's part of the beauty of golf. This isn't a championship course, so I say let them roam around and enjoy the greenery. If I have to step over bird poop occasionally, I'll live.
Music speakers at tee boxes
Course is good overall however a big down fall is the distracting music speakers at every tee box .
Overall a fun course to play. Seemed to be very well kept up. However there seemed to be too much goose droppings. I understand it’s difficult to have them 100% removed but there were an excessive amount of droppings on the greens, specifically holes 2-5. Also hole 9 on Saturday was an outrageous 34 yards to the pin and that’s just way too close considering your average distance was about 90-100 yards. Overall a good experience though
