10th hole has video tracing, just like on TV. Somewhere inside everyone can see your shot and you can scan a QR Code by the clubhouse and share the link with friends of that shot and tracing Photo submitted by wevvie on 05/03/2022

What's with the teeing areas?
The course is what it is regarding the length of the holes. The drawbacks are as follows: 1. The tee mats are horrible and it appears they want you to use them because the grass was high and inconsistent around the mats. 2. What's with the rinky-dink 9th hole? Why not have it like it used to be when there was a long 9th hole instead of having a dinky chip shot for 9 and a pitching wedge for 10?
Great experience
Course was in good shape.
Rained heavy the night before by course had minimal signs of such heavy rains.
Only downside was the greens had MANY ball marks from previous golfers. This isn’t just an issue here, or the courses fault, so I can’t penalize the course rating. Course could put up reminders to repair ball marks on the green but ultimately it falls on the golfer to repair theirs plus one more to keep greens true.
Overall, though, awesome experience!! Look forward to returning.
Elite Training Facilities
Probably the best place to come play & practice in 20 miles. Awesome staff and overall just a well kept track. Love this place
All good. Course I’m good shape . Courteous
Personnel
Fun time
Pace of Play
There was a group a head of us that had 6 kids playing and they were sharing a bag. The people said something to them over the intercom but did nothing about it . We waited like 10 minutes at each tee. We even played two balls at each hole when it was finally our turn. The reason I go to a 9 hole is to not spend all day. Just think that something could have been done about that especially since they did notice at hole 1. But still alllowed then to play as a 6some. Also everyone should have their own clubs. Part of pace of play
Great course for practicing your short Game
Depending on what time you play & day. This is a great course to practice your short irons. The bunkers are pretty great condition.
The staff are beyond helpful with anything needed. For example: I was running late for my tee time and they did what they could to fit me in for the next available time slots.
Some of the greens had ball divots from previous players, but other than that it’s a great course.
Great fun course. Night playing is difficult
The course and location is fun. Playing at night is hard with the amount of floodlights that aren’t working. There was at least one green we could barely see due to lack of lighting.
Other than that we had a great time.
Great Little Beginners Friendly Course
The Lakes is a great beginner friendly par 3 with enough challenges for a 'just past' beginner. My wife and I really like it and plan to return regularly
It’s not worth the money . Too much poop on the course . They don’t take Apple Pay and only cards and cash . Not very flexible on anything . The price doesn’t represent the quality of service or play . I can see why residents of the area play , because it is worth $15 not $25+ .
Good Practice Round
The Lakes provides a nice opportunity to work on your short game and putting. It is a well maintained course. Greens are in great shape.
Don’t recommend night time play.
Lighting was bad and there were a few greens with huge logs of geese poop That had to be moved in order to make a putt.
Great Course, Great Value
First time playing on Wednesday evening at 6:20pm, day after the start of the Palisades Fire, but we really wanted to get out. It was a fantastic course! The tee boxes had little mats, but we mostly played just off to the side in the turf - which it was clear many people do. Great course layout, massive greens, solid difficulty with interesting distances and tiered/undulating greens. Was extremely well lit, we only lost one errant ball between the 3 of us - not including the 3 sent right into the lake at the forced carry on hole 3. The greens were slower than what we have been used it with public courses out here, and some seemed to have had some sand on them? But nothing crazy. We will definitely come back!
