About
The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
The hallmarks of Eagle's Pointe are its classical, risk-reward design, natural beauty, strategy, variety and superb conditioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Winding through stands of moss-draped live oaks and pines and fresh-water wetlands and lagoons, Eagle's Pointe Golf Club's spacious corridors allow the golfer to keep driver in hand, while its dramatic bunkering, unique green sites and contoured putting surfaces combine to create one of the most exciting venues in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Disappointing
Greens & fairways in poor condition. Some tees not cut in awhile. Very dry and hard. Poorly marked. Staff very friendly

Poor condition
The fairways were dry and hard.
The greens were not soft and were full of weeds.

You get what you pay for
Cheap rates crappy course. Greens were horrible. No difference between fairway and rough. Tee boxes were just weeds. Staff of pro shop not friendly in the least. Our start time was delayed almost an hour!!!! Guess not all golf course on this area are great for golf! Played Hidden Cypress today it was beautiful!!

Eagle's Pointe
The course is in rough shape, including greens, fairways and tee boxes. The only value was the price, especially compared to the other courses in the area.

Spend a few bucks more elsewhere
Course is in awful shape. Weeds all over green, fairways and rough are the same. Tee boxes are ripped up and some not even mowed. Needs a major renovation.

Great early morning round
I showed up for a 7:30 tee time and was allowed out as a single. Played in 2 1/2 hrs and dropped the occasion extra ball. The course layout was challenging but extremely fair. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only negative was the tee boxes were not well-maintained. I would play it again.

Not the typical beach course conditions
The layout was nice, but the greens and fairways were not up to the standards I expect from any course on HHI. It is not one of the higher priced courses so I didn't have unrealistic expectations. It reminded me of the lower end courses in Greensboro NC, where I'm from. The layout was much better, but they could do a better job with the upkeep. I will pay more next time and play a higher rated course. Very friendly staff though!

Greens were awful. For the price I would expect better greens. Customer service is fantastic.
