About
The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
The hallmarks of Eagle's Pointe are its classical, risk-reward design, natural beauty, strategy, variety and superb conditioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Winding through stands of moss-draped live oaks and pines and fresh-water wetlands and lagoons, Eagle's Pointe Golf Club's spacious corridors allow the golfer to keep driver in hand, while its dramatic bunkering, unique green sites and contoured putting surfaces combine to create one of the most exciting venues in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

good golf day
Greens not in good shape tufts of other grasses which disrupted the putting surface.

Course was in very poor condition, staff were friendly except for guy in the pro shop. Pace of play was horrible, 5 hours to play, there was a foursome holding up everyone, usually had 3 -4 groups on hole because of the slow foursome. Money needs to be put into this course and the crescent, both sub par!

Needs work
Course layout was good however much work needs to be done on the greens And fairways to get rid of the crabgrass. Card paths need a lot of work to repair all areas. Not a good value for the money we paid.

Lot of foreign grass in greens. Traps not maintained . But good value for the price of golf in this area at this time.

A random pick
Never been to Beaufort area. Tee-off app new to me. Price, location, availability of Eagle Point appealing. Overall, very good value for the price. Course conditions were good, layout very good. Starter/cart barn manager/outdoor person gruff and otherwise not hospitable. Compared with other options in the area on short notice, this is a solid good deal.

Play here several times in March and April when visiting. The greens were not in very good condition. Bumpy with significant weeds. Tee boxes were a little rough but otherwise was OK
I like the layout and the staff were extremely courteous. I will be playing here again

Nice layout
Best course for the rate and better shape then most. Of the much more expensive courses on the Island . Even with the drive it was well worth it .

Huge Disappointment
This is a Davis Love Signature course, very disappointing in the condition. Greens were crappy and slow, so long it took the break out of most putts. The bunkers were basically unplayable, they haven’t seen quality sand in years, full of rock and pebbles. They haven’t been raked in a long time.
If your paying more than $25, do your self a favour and save your money for elsewhere.

Great layout has seen better days
Friendly staff, nice clubhouse, great range. Course not in good shape. Greens bumpy, poa patches, dead spots. Tees beat up. I don't expect resort conditions at this price, but it needs a lot of TLC especially around the greens and traps - some are filling with weeds.
The layout is interesting and challenging. There is a right and wrong part of each green. Pins bizarrely placed on ridges instead of as designed.

I see much hasn’t changed since our group left. Tee boxes, greens (poa anna), bunkers that haven’t been filled in as planned, fairways (below average). You won’t make money if you don’t spend money to fix the problems. Pretty soon EP will be as exciting to play as Rose Hill. You have one of the best layouts in the Low Country. Tell the deep pockets owner to spend money and fix Eagles and Cresxent.
