About
The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
The hallmarks of Eagle's Pointe are its classical, risk-reward design, natural beauty, strategy, variety and superb conditioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Winding through stands of moss-draped live oaks and pines and fresh-water wetlands and lagoons, Eagle's Pointe Golf Club's spacious corridors allow the golfer to keep driver in hand, while its dramatic bunkering, unique green sites and contoured putting surfaces combine to create one of the most exciting venues in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Course was so-so
Foreign grasses on greens that were like tuffs. Some greens had large areas of sand. Overall, course is not in good condition. Great potential but needs better upkeep. Cart paths are in very poor condition. Sorely in need of repaving. .

Needs improvement .
Course looks like it used to be great. Currently In the stages of undergoing improvements, but wouldn’t recommend playing now. Fairways are dry, tee boxes were pretty hard, a number of greens were unplayable, and a number of bunkers are just muck and mud. I believe they are doing the right things to make this a great course again but it will take time. New greenskeeper is making strides but needs time.

D L III would be sad.
Greens were terrible. Poor grass and odd weeds that made putts not track. Fairways were dry and needed care. I got a round in MN before coming down and it was in better shape than Eagle Pointe. Nice layout , good yardage , BUT needs much , much TLC.

Once was very good is now very bad!!
What was once a fun, challenging and well kept up course is now crap!
This course was a gem 10 years ago is now a waste!!

Just ok
Needs work. Needs water. Pretty dry. Many tee boxes very hard ground tough tee placement. Many Green’s bumpy and need work.

Course not in great shape, but given the price of many golf courses around. Here, not a terrible deal.
