About
The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
The hallmarks of Eagle's Pointe are its classical, risk-reward design, natural beauty, strategy, variety and superb conditioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Winding through stands of moss-draped live oaks and pines and fresh-water wetlands and lagoons, Eagle's Pointe Golf Club's spacious corridors allow the golfer to keep driver in hand, while its dramatic bunkering, unique green sites and contoured putting surfaces combine to create one of the most exciting venues in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

GB cart path only
A great outing with my son and grandson. Weather was ok and few golfers out. course was wet and cart path only didn't bother us too much.

Poor shape
Lots of greens in bad shape. Extremely wet in many areas - apparently from over watering. Bunkers not maintained

Tough rough
Fairways and most greens were good. Rough was tough to hit from.

Wet Wet Wet
This course was probably nice “back in the day”. The greens were slow and absolutely water logged, bare, and full of sand.
The tee boxes and fairways were hit or miss. Some of them were really nice, some of them were pretty bad.
I did enjoy the course layout. Nothing terribly challenging. Definitely a “retiree” course. Probably won’t be back next time we’re on vacation to Hilton Head. There are definitely nicer options around.

The course is in poor shape!
The condition of the course was very poor. The greens had black spots on the surface. The fairways did not have much grass. The ruff was such that it was very difficult to find the ball.

Great Potential
Course was very soggy given no rain in past 6 days. Greens left much to be desired . Layout is great and maybe the lack of maintenance was a result of moisture?

Very wet. Balls plugged. Fairway grass thin to nonexistent. Greens had no grass in several spots.
Bunkers not well maintained. Cart path very rough shape. Disappointed in current condition of course

Had a great time playing here. Played some other courses in the Carolinas which weren’t as nice. Would play here again!
