The Course at Wente Vineyards

Only negative I have was the driving range was closed for renovation. Can't wait to see how the bunkers play once that renovation is completed

It was cart path only and contributed to slow pace of play. Most of the bunkers are being reworked, but it is great to see the quality of care provided to the course. Staffs were very accommodating. I look forward to the next outing.

Most beautiful course in the Tri-valley. Well kept, pace of play was perfect. Staff was both professional and friendly (those don’t always go together…). Would definitely recommend to any serious golfer.

I paid $200 on a Friday morning to play at Wente. Worth the price, the course is in immaculate condition. Friendly staff and the round only took under 4:15 to play all 18. I’ll be coming back here on a regular basis. Oh and I have a bunch of tattoos on my arms and they were fine with me wearing a short sleeve polo. (Any tattoos are fine unless they’re gang tattoos). DEFINITELY check out Wente!

Greens shaggy and slow.

The weather was perfect and the setting spectacular. Just the kind of round that will help my wife golf more with me. We both loved it.

So my main complaint on this really cool track is; you pay $150 and while a live concert &10 food trucks are happening at the vineyard I'm making the turn on a 4.5hr round; no snack bar, no cart person....horrible. Wente GM, figure it out dude.

First of all this a great course when the grounds superintendent is on his game!

I played early morning (7:30am) and the course everywhere ball landed received zero roll. Multiple times with tee shots the ball plugged which indicated to me over saturation on the course. Fairways were a bit mushy. I have seen this course at it extreme best and currently I would not pay what did to play! #16is going through some transformation do to the past rains received early in the year and it has made the that hole terrible to play from the middle of the fairway at 225 yards. The 9th hole snack shack was not open and that seems to be the normal reoccurring theme on this course. For the price point, with the course lacking a beverage /food cart and a no 9th hole shack was actually very disappointing. I will try this course again once it appears conditions have bettered.

It’s been a long time since I last played at Wente. Long enough that I really couldn’t remember but 1 hole. What I found was a good conditioned course that I felt was a little overpriced. Would I comeback to play it any again … sure, but I won’t be rushing back. Maybe if the fees were around 25% cheaper, I’d find myself playing it more.

Course in great location and in great shape. Only negative is there was a land slide sometime in the past that damaged 16th tee which is being re-developed. Otherwise, very enjoyable round of golf.
