Located less than an hour east of San Francisco, the Course at Wente Vineyards sprawls across the lush, rolling hills of Livermore Valley. Greg Norman carefully crafted the golf course, creating one of northern California's most challenging layouts. The course incorporates three different landscapes: woodlands, grassy meadows, and mature vineyards. All throughout the golf course though, golfers will be faced with dramatic elevation changes that cause tricky uneven lies but that also means there are panoramic views to be enjoyed on almost every hole. The fairways and landing areas are narrow and require good club management. The prevailing winds add another challenging element to the course. The Course at Wente Vineyards' back nine holes are more demanding with the par 3s being especially memorable. It is a tough but fair round that will reward proper club selection and strategy.

How could this not be a great round when I got a hole in one on hole Seven.

Amazing!!

Lesser known fact, they give you a bottle of wine for a hole in one. The bottle is etched with one of the holes on the course.

Awesome course

The views are amazing, the course is in tremendous condition and would definitely recommend. Not your every weekend golf course as it’s very pricey for non-members but worth playing couple of times a year.

Beautiful and playable course

While the weather was not cooperative, the course is extremely beautiful and playable. However, the greens were sanded and it was extremely difficult to get a real feel for the course because of this. I was unaware that the greens would be in a compromised condition. That was unfortunate. Otherwise, the staff was above and beyond helpful and the complimentary range balls are a nice touch.

A walk amongst the clouds!

One of the best courses with 100 miles. Pricey! But worth it. They punched the greens so go around 5/7/24 and they will be perfect!!

6-7 hour rounds everytime.

Golf courses need to hire marshalls with a backbone and start kicking slow golfers off of their courses.

You wouldve prevented someone from getting their teeth knocked down their throat today on tge 16th tee.
