About
Bear Creek Golf Club is one of the courses that makes Hilton Head Island one of the country's most popular golf destinations. Rees Jones designed the course, routing the layout through majestic pines and sparkling blue lagoons. Jones kept much of the existing landscape intact, earning the golf course Audubon certification. There are five sets of tees total, with the longest stretching over 6,800 yards. It's a course that players of all skill levels can enjoy regardless of handicap. The tight, bunkered fairways are an infamous feature of the course but Bear Creek is also known for having some of the best greens on Hilton Head Island. The finishing hole is the course's signature. You'll have to navigate your way past a narrow chute of pines to reach the green, which is fronted by a large lagoon.

Course was in good shape and the price was ok as well for the area. Keep an open eye for the odd gator!
Fast and well maintained greens
This time of year fairways and rough suffer but that's the reason for winter rules
The greens were near perfect traps in good shape

Course in good condition, good value
One of my favorite courses on HHI. It's not the overall best course, but it's a darn good one, and a much better value than most of the higher rated coursed.

Bear Creek. Hilton Head
Bear Creek is a good playable course, with enough challenges for risk/reward golf. The course was in good condition, green were fair and bunkers playable. The layout is good and staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Bear Creek.
Very overcrowded and no ranger so barely finished before sunset. Need a ranger ifngoing to sell later tee times.
When arrived bag person judt pointed to a cart. We put our own bags on. Very strange
Great layout
Enjoyed the course layout. Nice test of golf for intermediate skilled player. Only suggestion is that it would be helpful to have a design of each hole at the tee box or on the scorecard to identify hazards.
