Ironwood Country Club
About
Ironwood Golf Course is an 18-hole course with many challenging elements. There are water hazards that come into play on five holes and the holes that don't have water have strategically placed sand bunkers coming in to play. All of the greens are sloped and some are undulating as well. One interesting asset of the course is the extensive mounding; the unique and interesting placement can cause uneven lies. The course is tricky but there are three sets of tee boxes to adapt to a variety of abilities and handicaps. The Ironwood Golf Course facility also features practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area.

Nice Mid-Length Course
Not too long or difficult, only 2 par 5's and par 67. Always maintained and in good condition - nice tee boxes, fairways, and greens (although they tend to run slow). Pace is very good in the summer, green fees are reasonable.
Excellent / non stressful
Had a great time, thank you so much for having icy cold water to drink out on the course... its much appreciated on a 108 degree day !!
Great feel good round!
I love this course. Very forgiving and fun. Wide fairways were very well kept and green. Greens were newly airated and in excellent condition (they were rolling great!). Shorter course, played blue tees and could of kept the big dog in the bag, but it was forgiving enough to just grip and rip at some if the shorter par 4s. Not very challenging, but we had a very fun fast round where birdie putts were frequent. Great value with a hot deal but I would pay full greens fees for the fun and the quality of the course.
A very nice commuity par-67 golf course in Chandler
I have alway enjoyed playing at the well-maintained Ironwood. Very good price, however, with only limited time slots opened to the general public.
great greens
Great value, played from the "tips" challenging for a par 67 layout
Very well maintaiined.
Enjoyable course to play. Only thing lacking is a driving range.
This course is great to bring the wife too. She'll love playing it and you can get a good round in with her by your side.
Fairway grass was a little high on some holes. The greens were rock hard. But we had a good time...the course is pretty.
Fun quick course
Course played fast. moderate to easy with no major hazards. Par 5 to start and finish with all 3's and 4's in between. Great course for us hackers.
Nice variety of holes and the course is very well maintained.
This course is always in super great shape. The greens roll true and the fairways and tee boxes are immpecable. There is a nice variety of holes from par 3's to par 5's, and this is just a great example of a shorter championship course. A great course to work on your game. Always enjoy playing this course.
Very enjoyable course.
I played this course for the first time on Sunday. gotta tell ya, for a Sunday afternoon, play was 3.5hrs which really surprised me. greens were in good shape, while fairways could use some work, but not bad for being early Spring. Yes, a challenging course as well. Short but well worth the $$ and time to check this one out.
All around good value and fun
It maybe short but the par three's from the back tees will certainly get your attention . The course is in great shape and the greens are fast.
Nice Course
Love playing this course, not long but most holes are well protected
Good Course but Service Issues
The course was good for the money. The fairways and greens were in nice shape.
The only reason I did not rate this course higher was due to the service in the clubhouse when we made the turn from hole 9 to hole 10. At any other course, I have found they are sensitive to golfers and will try to serve drinks as quickly as possible to get you back out on the course. In this situation, the 2 people tending the bar were too busy serving alcohol to people sitting there watching football that they didn't take care of the golfers. When one person in our party ordered a coffee, the guy rolled his eyes and went back to serving other people.
Course in pretty good condition. fun course to play
Played at 1: PM. never waited finished just before got cold.
Great warm-up course!
As mid-westerners who frequent the Valley during our winter months, we are always looking for good 'warm-up' courses to allow us to get in 18 holes on a shorter course because we haven't played for while, given our local golf is seasonal. We loved Ironwood and we'll be back.
Stay Away from Ironwood
I highly recommend avoiding this course.......
......so I can keep it to myself. Great course for lower and intermediate skill levels.
First time playing at this course.
Scored very well, pace of play was good, did not have to wait very much at the tees.
Great couples course
Has something for the strong and shorter players. Was a great round with good course condition. Great members that paired with us and made the round very enjoying. The ranger kept everyone on pace and we finished under 4 hours on a weekend.
Greens were in good condition.
The course is a fun one to play. Challenging par 3's, and nice greens. More course management is required than what the scorecard would indicate. Fun par 4's & par 5's.
