Dobson Ranch Golf Course

This course has an amazing driving range, chipping and putting area. The facilities are nice, staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This course is popular but this has some drawbacks. We played on a day that a men's tournament began the day and put all tee times behind by 30-45 minutes for the day. Our tee time was 11:54 and we were able to tee off around 12:35. We were a twosome paired with another twosome which obviously is standard. Pace of play was slow due to the delay in starting out so we finished 18 holes in 4.5 hours. Obviously, if we didn't have to wait for the group ahead pace of play would've been much faster. Once teed off on hole one, the men's group that was on hole 9 crossed onto the opposite side of our fairway and hit not only his WAY out of bounds shot, but two additional mulligans along with cussing us out for being in his way on our own fairway; so that was fun. Holes are well maintained, I just wished they had nets for the driving range because holes 9/10 are extremely sketchy and you could easily get hit with a rogue range ball. White range balls are scattered everywhere on holes 9/10 so be sure to bring a colored ball to find your ball in the sea of white range balls. The fairways are narrow, which would be fine if you're a somewhat decent golfer but this course tends to be more of a "party" course and the players we ran into (remember the gentleman in the men's tournament that cussed us out on hole one?) were not the greatest. One adult was chasing the geese with his cart, which some of you readers may find funny, but that is just flat out trashy immature behavior. All in all, I recommend the off course amenities and will definitely come back to the driving range. I'd love to try the course again on a less busy day. Dobson Ranch is fantastic for the laid back golfer that enjoys drinking on the course or just hanging out with some friends, so I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a nice, fun place to golf.

The day started off great, staff was nice and helpful, course was a bit backed up due to a high school tournament. Pace of play definitely was hindered due to it. We had a 30 minute delay to even tee off and when we finally were able to the group on hole 9 was playing off hole 1st holes fairway. Which further delayed the group. This proceeded to happen throughout the whole round. I would stick to just the range her personally as it is a very nice range.

I played DR 5 years ago and it had been upgraded since then.

As expected for this time of year, the fairways were a bit rough but the tee boxes and greens were great. Staff is super friendly and efficient. The ranger warned us of a slow down but said that he sped that group up and pace of play picked up (just under 4 hours). Had the lunch special and a drink afterwards with good food and service.

Great course that accepts golfers of all skill levels with an amazing driving range.

I love everything about this course, the layout, the amenities and the staff, everyone is so friendly here. The course conditions weren’t the best on our round with the bunkers being a little hard and some tee boxes were a little raw or some had long grass, but this time of year, I couldn’t expect anything more.

Overall a fun course, but the overabundance of range balls that littered the holes surrounding the range is a major deterrence in my eyes. There were also random golf balls that were shredded by mowers course-wide. If more care was taken to clean up the course itself, I would definitely come back.

Great course and staff really enjoyed playing there!

The course was beautiful, the greens were very well groomed, the beverage cart was very attentive, came around three times in the front nine! The food at the club was incredible for a golf course. In the whole picture great place to play a round of golf, drinks and food.
