Dobson Ranch Golf Course is an enjoyable track suitable for all ages and abilities. The course has generous fairways and large greens. There is an abundance of forestry; not only are there trees lining the fairways but they are also situated throughout, making accuracy top priority. A good value fun course
For a public course that gets extensive play this course is in pretty darn good shape. The staff are polite, pleasant and helpful and certainly added to the experience. As the weather heats up they are pouring a lot of water on parts of the course so it is a little muddy in spots - just agree with your friends to play the ball "up" where necessary and you will have a fun round.
Heartbreak to see the course go so far downhill
I've been playing Dobson Ranch since the 80's and always enjoyed the value. Unfortunately it is hard to watch it go so far downhill the past few years. Guess a new management company took it over and they put all the energy / money in the driving range and ignore the course. It is only the begging of summer and all the other courses around are in great shape yet Dobson has huge browned out areas in the fairways and patches of wild grass all over the greens. Several tee box area aren't even playable with no grass / completely dry and browned out.
Great time at the ranch
Had a great time at Dobson Ranch. Pace of play... 3hrs and 56 minutes and we were following a bachelor party outing. Greens were fast, and hole placements were challenging. Only complaint is you are always dodging range balls on hole number 10 from tee to green! Q
Great muni
We found the course to be in good condition. Some areas of fairway and greens still in recovery mode. The pin placements presented some interesting putts. Overall a good muni course with channeling holes

Definitely one of best courses in the valley! I consider this place a second home.
Best staff - course conditions are moderate
You can’t find a better group of people than those running Dobson Ranch. That said, the fairways need a little work, the greens are pretty good but the fairways can have a lot of bald spots and the areas around the greens are very soft with sparse grass as well.
Good course for the value
I played here once about 17 years ago and then came back to play regularly since 2022. The facility upgrade is nice to see. The course itself is good for average golfer like myself.
