Incredible staff and ownership here, fun layout and the best driving range around with toptracer!

I used to play dobson ranch all the time when I lived closer. It's a well laid out course with challenging holes but also plenty of getable holes. Greens were pretty rough, to be expected in az summer, but there was alot of small rocks and pebbles that really were an issue most of the day.

Over the last few years they have updated their facilities, especially the driving range, which is great for fun and beginners. My biggest issue with the course comes from incident I had when playing my latest round after a 5-6 year hiatus from playing this course. The listed prices were, $24 dollars for a ranch card holder, $34 for a Maricopa resident, and $44 for non residents. I selected the $34 dollar option but when arriving at the course they initially charged me $49!!! I complained about the error and was granted a refund, however I was immediately approached by a random player on the driving range before the round and he told me that the same issues has happened to him multiple times. Overall not bad for a cheaper course but felt pretty uneasy about the issues with the staff.

Really disappointed in how much bare dirt are in the fairways, weeds on the tee boxes, etc. With all that said the greens are still in pretty good shape and doesn't have nearly as many dead patches. Greens are still very challenging.

Got up early before sunrise to teeoff before 6 am. It was a fabulous day with three other golfers which I had never met. Done in under 3 hours and 40 minutes. Good time. Greens were a little bumby and some spots were not fully grown in, but that was just what courses go through this time of year.

The course was in good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful as always. I will definitely play here again

I’ve been playing here since I was a kid in the 80s. The course played well and the greens rolled true. The pace of play was a little slow, but it picked up in the back 9. The staff are awesome. I will be back again and again this summer.

The course is okay. I have a hard time playing a course where the fairways are shorter than the greens. Too often, you're on dirt in the fairway. Yes, I know it's summer, but don't cut them so short. No cart lady and we had to pay their back nine twice. If I'd have known that when I booked, I probably wouldn't have booked.

Haven’t played Dobson Ranch in a while. The last few rounds were well over 4 1/2 hrs. Yesterday, probably helped by 112F heat, I and 3 others made it around in 3hrs 40 minutes. Course conditions were decent, though the greens were starting be impacted by heat (they’re aerating in a couple days). Will definitely need to put back into regular rotation!

This place rocks. Management Company must be congratulated. They have transformed this previously "tired" course into a vibrant on and off course experience. The staff is also amazing! Everyone is incredibly friendly. Now if they would just bring their beverage cart prices into some semblance of reasonableness it would be near perfect.

$7.00 for a beer which includes a $1. Ranch Card discount! I won't be drinking any beer on that course again.

They are obviously entitled to charge whatever they think that they can get. And I am obviously entitled to not buy anything. Nuff said. The course is outstanding.
