Dobson Ranch Golf Course

Course is in good condition, good practice facility and excellent customer service. Course layout is less than exciting and a bit on the hum drum side, can’t visualize any hole as a signature. Food and beverage was good just feel the course is over priced but I guess we pay for the weather.

Great value with TeeOff discount. Greens, aprons, and fairways in great shape. Traps were adequate. Marshall was friendly but pushed us a bit for being a "half hole behind". Our round was only 4:10. Restaurant beverage service good, and nice patio with practice green adjacent.

Was a frost delay so got backed up- not the courses fault. They were good at handling it.

Played the course with my brother as an easily midway course between Fountain Hills & Marana. Nice muni style course in good condition. Greens playable & decent sand traps. Fairways a tiny bit thin but very playable. Only issue was trying to warm up with a driver in the mats didn’t work because a tee would not stand up.

Nice course, greens roll true here. My only complaint is they need nets up along 9 & 10 fairways to stop range balls from coming onto the fairways. Our group lost 4 balls as we couldn't find our balls amongst the hundreds of range balls scattered everywhere. Definitely bring colored balls if you are playing.

By the fourth hole FOUR groups were waiting or playing the par 3 hole number 4. The ranger told us he had told the group on hole 8 to speed it up because they were two holes behind. Consequently, the hole day we ended up waiting to hit our next shot or tee off on every hole. It made for a miserable day. I wonder why the ranger finally said something on the eighth hole instead of earlier. I guess he made them skip number 9 and go to 10 but the damage was done and we never recovered. It should have been obvious before hole 8.

I came 45 minutes early so I could warm up. "The driving range doesn't open until 7"

Good thing I played well. Seem like an easy fix. But that's just stupid and not even a bucket for another day....

Play here regularly. and love the course but got stuck behind.4 golfers who thought they were playing a PGA Tour event! the result was a 5 1/2 hour round which took the sparkle off of the rest of the experience.

But, love the course, the facilities and the staff who are very friendly and courteous!

Course is ok but did not like driving range balls coming into the fairway on 9 & 10 when we were trying to golf! Felt very unsafe and it was difficult to find my golf ball in all the range balls on the fairway.

Then we were asked to 'speed it up' by the marshall :(

I booked a Hot Deal on the day I played not sure of the kind of course I was in for and was pleasantly surprised! Everything from the music playing around the clubhouse and the speakers installed on the carts that you can blue tooth from your phone to the fabulous and very friendly staff it was a very pleasant surprise! The greens were fast but true and course layout was a good challenge to all levels of golfers in our group. The tee boxes were a little chewed up but that was no issue when considering everything else. I will definitely play Dobson Ranch again and will advise it to friends. Our round was 4hrs and 15 min

Greens and conditions were very good! Played in 3 1/2 hrs with early tee time.

Challenging course with fast greens but wide enough to forgive an errant side. Staff was very friendly from front end to the gentleman that cleaned our cart. I would recommend the course to a friend or friends.
