Dobson Ranch Golf Course

Traps need to be rototilled and work the sand. Most of them seem to be hitting out of compact sand or no sand at all.

Overall course in good shape. Pace of play excellant 4 hr round

Green fees are reasonable for this course. It's been doing improvements to the course, clubhouse, restaurant, and driving range over the past few years. The condition of the fairways and tee boxes were excellent. The best part is the staff works diligently to keep the pace of play going. All around, Dobson provides a pleasurable experience all around.

Not sure you can beat the price and the golf course is very good.

I played yesterday and loved the fun Course layout, but was very disappointed how they handled my assigned tee time that I made on their website. The starter let my group off almost 20 minutes earlier, and no one notified me if that prior to my assigned tee time, and there no other openings for me. Though starter drove me to my group, I missed the first 2 holes. Just make sure you confirm your assigned time when you check in.

Fun and moderately challenging course. One of best courses for the money in valley.

I’ve been playing Dobson Ranch for five years. It’s my favorite course in the valley. The course is challenging from the white or men’s tee.

Improvement could take place with drainage of water on certain holes. After heavy rains the course retains a lot of ponds that capture golf balls otherwise in play.

The staff is always friendly. The value is fine. I anticipate playing at Dobson Ranch for many years to come!

I really look forward to Playing Dobson Ranch, however this last round was terrible - not because of course conditions or putting greens or layout - it was because of the poor course management by Dobson Ranch. I ha

d a late tee time 1:50p and the starter said they were 1 tee time behind, When I looked at the group in front of us, they were playing a fivesome. I asked the starter how can you allow a fivesome on a Friday afternoon? He replied, they play fast - you'll never see them. Wrong! (This group was a bachelor party and they were drinking heavy). Now I am for having fun on the golf course - but not when it delays the entire course. Realistically, this group was not the real problem, but groups in front them not being monitored by marshals. As a result, I quit after 15 holes due to frustration and no light.

I really enjoy playing Dobson Ranch - but this time makes me wonder if I will ever play again without changes to how the course in managed. Maybe a free round would make me feel better since i was not allowed to finish this one.

We golf the course regularly. While Marshalls are on the course, there is no incentive for any slow players to change their pace. Other facilities (Troon Courses in Particular) manage pace of play much better. Troon would rather refund one foursome their green fees than have an entire course upset at a 5.5 hour round of golf (like we were). Give your marshals' some tools to speed up play besides "suggesting" slow players speed up! Have some fortitude and kick slow players off and refund their money, you will get a VERY good reputation quickly!
