About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Slow day
Get there 20 minutes early. Starter states we are running 6 minutes early and has us tee off actually 9 minutes early. The twosome ahead of us sits and waits on most wholes way too long, and forces us to wait to tee off on every hole. It would be better to stay on tee times and spread out the groups. It took a very nice day and turned it into a human rain delay! Since no Marshall’s we’re out there to support or for us to voice our complaints, we were frustrated with the delays.
Great Course
I play Sunbird quite a bit as it's a mid-executive par 66. Course is in pretty good shape, although they will be overseeding next week. Staff is always outstanding and professional. They also recently got some new golf carts and they are great.
Need to speed people up
Okay this is a 4200 yard course, if you’re taking 3+ hours to play it, you have no idea what you’re doing and should stick to top golf. Sorry but, if I’m playing 21 holes here in an hour and 45 minutes it really bothers me when I start an hour behind a group of 3 and I catch up to them on 9.
I turned around and well all the way back to 3, played every hole 3-9 again, and boom, catch up to these jack offs in on 11. I think they were Literally replaying holes with someone behind them.
Buddy’s getting 10 feet off the tee box maybe just let the single handicap 6 play thru.
So, to the course owners, get a marshal.
Beautiful course
We love playing at Sunbird. It was not busy so we could play at our own speed. We will be back.
