About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Love this Course
The course is almost always in very good shape. Just a few areas being worked on, and that includes some tee boxes. Greens were outstanding. During our round we saw something unbelievable. There was two men in a personal golf cart, with both a Canadian flag and US flag. We did not see these two until #10. They actually drove their golf cart not only right next to every green, we saw them drive across at least two greens! We let the clubhouse know, but this is when you wish there was a ranger around.
Nice Course
I play Sunbird often as I enjoy the layout. Looks like quite a few holes are under going repair in both the fairways and tee boxes. Hopefully this won't take more than a month or so. We were the last group out for the day and we breezed through in three hours. Always like the staff at Sunbird.
The marshal was annoying
I wasn’t taking any extra shots or reshooting. The marshal kept telling me to play faster and being rude about it. A smile and some common courtesy would’ve been nice. When you constantly tell someone to hurry it makes them play worse and that’s annoying. In the end, we caught up to the players in front of us, no thanks to the Marshall making me play worse. all of us shot birdies and played in the 80’s but I wouldn’t go back.
WET day
Too many of the course holes had major issues with drainage from the rain we had 5 days earlier. Holes #1and #2 were extremely wet including the fairways. For the current pricing we should expect better conditions. Due to the wet conditions the price of the round should have been discounted!
Very slow play
Tee time 112 only able to get 9 holes on a short course. Painfully slow play. Greens in excellent condition.
Nice course
Very nice course and layout. Fun to play and staff is always great
Rain out
Online order with Tee off. Rain out and came down with COVID and they still billed me. Not happy. Billed for 2 holders and nobody was able to golf because of rain. No refunds
Beats Going to the Range
First game in several months, so played this short course instead of the driving range. Okay layout, but too many short-short holes. Greens were in good shape, and people were welcoming and friendly. Got what I was looking for at a good price. Satisfied !
Easy course in a friendly environment
Good place for a round with wide open spaces. Conditions were good. Friendly staff.

Parking
The parking is a bit tight. Difficult driving since this is a retirement community with a lot of people carelessly driving their golf carts around without looking where they are going.
Sunbird golf outing
This is a very nice course, play it a lot in the winter. Course is challenging and always in good shape. Staff is always friendly helpful. Would highly recommend this course if your looking for a fun day of golf.
