About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Sunbird golf outing
This is a very nice course, play it a lot in the winter. Course is challenging and always in good shape. Staff is always friendly helpful. Would highly recommend this course if your looking for a fun day of golf.
It’s a retirement community
Don’t be like me a book this without doing your research first. Course was fine but I would not have golfed here had I known it was a retirement community. I was the youngest person there by 40 years at least. Not the vibes I was hoping for.
Nice Executive course
Well kept 1 par 5, 10 par 4 and 7 par 3 4100 from whites…my wife and I enjoy the course!
Quick 18
Nice course to work on short game and play a quick round. Friendly staff. Restaurant was closed at 1:30, which disappointed I bit. But could still get a cocktail & watch baseball game.
Pace of play good
Right now it would be difficult to give the course a great rating since they had started their over seeding procedure. A machine was chewing up the fairway in prep for reseeding. I think in normal time the course would be really nice. There is a nice layout. Price is very reasonable. We played later morning so the pace was very good.
Great short course
I love Sunbird because it’s always in good condition. Pace of play can be an issue sometimes but it’s usually pretty good. Price was great!

I was very impressed with the course. Other courses in the area do not look like this one. Great condition especially for the cheap price

We're great , greens rolling well, fairways cut to a nice length so stay on them , don't get in the ruff
Good Morning at SunBird
The course is in very good condition. Greens are a little firm today. I had fun playing with a local group. Pared the last five holes today. I am a happy man!
Good Morning at SunBird
Even though the pace of play is very slow here, this is still a fun course to play. We had four groups on one hole before things spread out a little. No help from any course management to move things along.
