About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Nice course for the money
Like the course. Wish they allowed beer on the course, but I can deal with it.
Snowbirds back at ot
Although a very short course, we enjoyed the round very much. Nice thick and green fareways and greens. It did take a while to get used to the super slow greens. Three of us played 18 holes in 2 hours 45 minutes with only a few waits. Good course to get our golf year started.
Pace slow, greens slow
Front nine was terribly slow. On more than one tee box, there were 3 groups waiting. Apparently, there was a twosome that was holding everyone up? If so, they should have been taken off the course. Greens are quite long and very slow.
Great short game course.
We enjoy this course. The course is in good shape and the shorter holes provide a great opportunity to make pars and even the odd birdie.
The only minor negative thing is the lack of a beverage cart.
We’ll definitely come back again.
Always Fun
Play here quite a bit, staff is great, including the new hires in the Pro Shop and maintaining the carts. Course was in good shape, greens a bit bumpy but that is unfortunately expected in a retirement community.
