About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Nice Course, great staff!
Course is in transition so fairways and tee boxes will improve as time goes by. Greens, however, are very good. Christiana in the Pro Shop is great, very friendly, efficient, and helpful. Always enjoy playing Sun Bird.
Nice Course
I can't say enough about Laurie and her staff. Friendly, professional and courteous. Even the landscapers stop working when you are near them. That's usually reserved for high end coutses. and certainly not seen at any other courses in the East Valley. Course is in transition now but still very playable
Great job Sunbird !!
Course
Walked the course. Very easy to walk. Course was surprisingly in great shape for this time of the year
The course
The course is in good condition the greens are easy to read if you're off of the fairways it's not too long it's not a walk on course where you think you can beat it every time it's a tough little course great people in the golf shop
I would have never found this course if it wasn't due to golf now and golf pass
Water, fairways in good shape
We walked this course which was very easy to do. Course in really great shape for it to be the Ed of the season. Love playing this course
Great condition
Great value play for quality greens and fairways. Great pace of play as well
Good warm up round
Course was in good shape, Staff very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was good as well. Only critique would be the length, especially on the back nine, but we knew this going in. Course was in tally good shape.
Challenging executive course
Don’t let this course fool you, it’s quite challenging. Great staff, good pace of play and a good assortment of holes. Considering the time of year, this course was in good shape. Had a great day!
Nice Executive
Had a very enjoyable round with a few friends, taking just 2 1/2 hours to complete. Fairways were mostly good, but quite a few brown spots as wait for the warmer weather to kick-start the Bermuda grass. Greens were about the same. Staff here is outstanding. However, they started to apply what appears to be Armor All to the golf carts. While it looks great, it caused some issues. One, my hands got greasy as it was applied to every part of the cart, including steering wheel, gas pedal, brake pedal, floor, etc. Not only did I have to wash my hands with a wet towel before grabbing a club, my foot (with spikes) kept slipping on the pedals, which got dangerous.I would have much preferred no Armor All.
Fun little track!
Only a par 66, but a lot of fun to play. The course makes you think about different clubs to use to put you in the right spot. The greens are fast but fair. Tee boxes and fairways are in good shape, too. My son-in-law and I were pleasantly surprised to see as much water on the course as we did; reminds us of home in Florida. The pro-shop staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience!
In Transition
Play here quite a bit and always enjoy. Course is currently in transition, so many brown areas in the fairways, green, and tee boxes, but that is expected.
